Youngův modul tepelně odolných kompozitů s keramickou matricí vyztužených jednosměrně vlákny Nextel 720 nebo Nicalon NL202 byl měřen na vzduchu při 900-1300řC. Nad 1200řC modul výrazně klesá a závisí na rychlosti zatěžování. Young's modulus of refractory ceramic matrix composites with unidirectional reinforcement by Nextel 720 or Nicalon NL202 fibers was measured in air at 900-1300řC. Above 1200řC the modulus decreases remarkably and it depends also on the strain rate.
