Background and relations at asylum centra
Vanišová, Anna ; Jelínek, Martin (advisor) ; Duba, Pavel (referee)
I tried to investigate the causes of conflicts that originated in a multicultural environment of asylum centres in the Czech Republic and I intended to find solutions that would prevent conflicts in the future. With the help of questionnaires and talking to and observing asylum seekers and social workers, I observed that the perception of conflicts and especially the perception of the motives for conflicts differ among participants. It is important to face each conflict as a unique situation and to consider the background of asylum seekers as well while solving tense situation. Some of the asylum seekers suggested solutions in their questionnaires that deserve further consideration. First, the refugees desire more interest and intervention of social workers in disputes among asylum seekers. Further, they would welcome informal meetings with opportunities to discuss the problems arising in asylum camps. It would also be an occasion to get to know other asylum seekers living in the same asylum camp. The survey further showed that the asylum seekers were disappointed with the poor language offerings at asylum centres. They would appreciate more opportunities to learn Czech and English to communicate with other refugees who speak different languages. The possibility to communicate with others would avoid...
The AmBe Laboratory Neutron Source Field Determination Using Experimental Stend
Jelínek, Martin ; Šťastný, Ondřej (referee) ; Katovský, Karel (advisor)
This master’s thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the conventional neutron sources from the perspective of reactions which lead to the production of neutrons, advantages, disadvantages, properties and their possible utilization. In the relation to the assembly of the laboratory neutron source and the unique experimental stand “Candle” basic methods of the neutron field analysis are outlined and two of them, the neutron activation analysis and the calculation using the MCNP software code are discussed in depth to apply and compare these methods. The experimental part deals with the realization of neutron activation analysis from its design itself, through gamma spectrometry to the cadmium ratio calculation. In compliance with the measurements, a calculation with MCNP code was run and both methods were evaluated and compared. The computation is complemented with the analysis of radiation situation on the borders of the supervised area, which is compared to the legal limit.

This bachelor thesis called Antitrust policy from a point of view of institutional economics is considered to be a sort of enlargement of conventional approaches of antitrust policy toward different market structures.
