Design of device for inspection of final casting
Kutílek, Tomáš ; Maňas, Pavel (referee) ; Vaverka, Michal (advisor)
This thesis is focused on construction of device for inpection of final casting for machine casting dedicated for tension of car cam belt. Device for inpection of final casting is operated by pneumatic parts and is intended to check operational parts of the machine casting. Control is designed directly to enterprise production. It is constructed according to the custom requirements and it’s operability was confirmed on a prototype. It’s construction solves the problems with manual checking. General analysis of machine cast checking as well as analysis of machine casting dedicated for tension of car cam belt in the submitting company is included in the thesis. Moreover, the thesis comprises of discussion of the construction itself, discussion of pneumatic operating elements and economical and technological review.
Stress and strain analysis of connecting rod in combustion engine using FEM
Biječek, Tomáš ; Hutař, Pavel (referee) ; Vaverka, Michal (advisor)
In this diploma thesis is completed the FEM analysis of connecting rod in combustion engine Briggs & Stratton of the garden lawnmower. Within the frame of computing in the FEM system ANSYS Workbench is solved static structural strein and stress analysis, buckling analysis a fatigue also. The boundary conditions for FEM computing come out from the kinematic and dynamic analysis of the crank-slider mechanism in combustion engine. The 3-D models of the crank-slider mechanism are created in parametric SolidWorks modeller. Own construction variants of the connecting rod based on results of FEM analysis are also designed.
Comparative analysis of notched machine parts using photoelasticity and FEM
Bittner, Jiří ; Náhlík, Luboš (referee) ; Vaverka, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with comparative analysis of stress and strain of notched machine parts using photoelasticity and finite element method (FEM). Experimental and numerical comparative analyses were performed on three models: hook, J shaped bracket and 3-point bending beam with notch. Equivalent stresses, principal stresses and its directions were analyzed. The emphasis is given on photoelasticity, the theory and principles of photoelasticity are described in more detail. FEM analysis was performed using software ANSYS 11. The work presented includes the preparation of polariscope in the laboratory of Institute of machine and industrial design in order to use it in tutorials focused on experimental stress analysis using photoelasticity.
Design of vending machine for energy bars
Černošek, Martin ; Koutný, Daniel (referee) ; Vaverka, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the construction of vending machine for energy bars. Vending machine can sell two types of bars. It is constructed according to the client requirements. It is assumed that construction of vending machine will make the sell more effective. Thesis contains the description of main parts of vending machines, and also variants of design solutions and the final construction itself. The conclusion includes construction, technological, and economical review.
Models of vehicle´s kinetic energy recovery
Fic, Miloslav ; Vaverka, Michal (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with analysis of existing knowledge in the area of vehicle kinetic energy recuperation models. This analysis is mainly focused on hydrostatic regenerative braking system models. This paper introduces stances of some authors, mathematic relationships and program tools useful for simulation of these models. Afterwards is estimation of shown studies and at least is presented future development of hydrostatic regenerative braking systems. This paper gives a sight of hydraulic recuperation system problems and it could be used as the theoretical element for next research in recuperation models area.
Use of models of vehicle´s kinetic energy recovery
Galda, Michal ; Vaverka, Michal (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
Analysis of concrete model application of vehicle's kinetic energy regeneration.
Realization of educational problem based on experimental apparatus with cam mechanism
Tomeček, Vojtěch ; Vrbka, Martin (referee) ; Vaverka, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on solving educational problem based on experimental apparatus with cam mechanism. The task of the educational problem is to teach students to analyse kinematic quantities of cam followers. The thesis contains general discourse on the topic of cam mechanisms and basic terms definition. This is followed by putting the device into service, eliminating its particular imperfections, analysis of kinematic quantities of various combinations of available cams and followers and definition of methodics of the educational problem. The educational problem itself follows the presentation and commentary of gained results. At last some recommendations for the future modifications of the experimental apparatus are given followed by foreshadow of its eventual future usage.
Measuring system for analysis of pressure relations in spray lubrication device
Popelka, Michal ; Vaverka, Michal (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the selection and design layout of the measuring system for the analysis of pressure and flow conditions in the lubricating system and a particular pressure and flow sensors. Sensors were selected according to suitability for use in these conditions of measurements (pressure, flow, etc.). Work also includes the review and selection of data bus for converting the output signal from the sensor to the evaluation unit (computer). It also includes selection of the measurement software to analyze the values arriving from the sensors into the measurement computer, find the optimal conditions for lubrication of wheel flanges of rolling stock.
Basic reasons of bearings damage and their diagnostics
Schreier, Jan ; Vaverka, Michal (referee) ; Mazal, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor`s thesis analyzes failures, that may occur on rolling bearings and their causes. In particular, it focuses on the source of the silure, as well as its type and mechanism. Furthermore, this thesis outlines the basic methods used for diagnostics of rolling bearings including their advantages, disadvantages and possible aplications.
