Diplomová práce na téma "Motivace fyzioterapeutů pro jejich profesi, vývoj této motivace během jejich pracovní kariéry." se zabývá přiblížením vztahu motivace, a to ve smyslu motivačních podnětů se kterými se fyzioterapeuti setkávají během profesní dráhy. V tomto kontextu jsou v rámci práce kladeny otázky, jak jsou fyzioterapeuté připraveni pro nástup do praxe. Jak jsou schopni se sami fyzioterapeuté vyrovnávat se sociálními složkami terapie ve smyslu navázání vztahů s pacienty s jiným zdravotnickým personálem např. lékařem, jak a nakolik se ztotožňují s kompletním zdravotnickým systémem a co je předmětem jejich kritiky systému. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí - teoretické v podobě jakéhosi obecného vymezení problému a empirické části. Teoretická část ve svém úvodu stručně představuje obor fyzioterapie "jako takový" s jeho historií, legislativou, podmínkami, s jeho možnostmi studia a možného uplatnění. Následující kapitoly se zabývají tématy, které s oborem a nasměrováním dráhy fyzioterapeuta úzce souvisejí. Abstract Social and legal protection of children represents a set of specific activities consisting in the provision of child protection. Culture of Social Workers OSPOD is defined values that are shared by professionals in this field. This thesis aims to illustrate the work of social workers through exploration of professional culture. Since the work of social workers covers wide range of duties, this thesis focuses on the removal of children from their families, as values of social workers in critical cases can be demonstrated within these difficult situations. Furthermore, from the professionals' perspective, this area is little known to the public. Qualitative research strategy has been used to answer the research question: "What is the professional culture of social workers OSPOD?" This thesis presents initial results on professional culture through analysis of interviews with OSPOD employees from two departments and a case study, which is supplemented with two specific interviews with SOPOD employees.
"Toxíci": The Pioneers of the World Drug in the Real Socialism Era. Symbolic Re-construction of the Initial Drug Subculture in Communist Czechoslovakia

The aim of the diploma thesis is to find answers to questions connected to the symbolic construction of collective identity of the initial drug community in communist Czechoslovakia. This discourse creation of collective identity is analyzed on the basis of biographical interviews with outliving members of the then drug subculture. In the course of the terrain investigation there has been recorded a total of 34 narratives of the representatives of the two successive generations of this drug community by using the unstructured and semi-structured interview technique. For the purposes of this research, there has been analyzed 7 interviews closely connected to the beginning and the initial process of formation of drug community. By means of analysis and interpretation of the content of these biographical materials there are primarily captured the collectively shared interpretative frames of values and important identification attributes by which protagonists of the oldest generation of this community form their former collective identity. In this way is clarified how the narrators themselves re-construct and re-interpret their subjectively experienced "we" and at the same time using the symbolic resources to define borders against the non-members of this collectivity. Czech Language in the World of Teenagers

The primary aim of this diploma thesis is to research language variability of school pupils at the age of 13 and 15, its changes occurring in last decades and the analysis of causes and links leading to these changes. The thesis also deals with social conditionality of contemporary Czech language and relationship between language variability and social stratification. After a theoretical part introducing the method of discourse analysis and Czech language varieties surrounding today's school children, school essays written in the fifties of 20th century and now are compared. In the following part the analysis results of the semi-structured interviews with 15 year old people are brought in. The interviews are focused on teenagers' attitude to contemporary language variability and their considering which social environment and contexts require using of high-level standard language. Finally the questions are raised if the value of language is perceived by teenagers and what social functions of language are indicated by them.
Work-Life balance among cardiologists and cardiac surgeons

This thesis deals with the work-life balance issues encountered by cardiologists and cardiac surgeons. The main objective of this study was to find out on how these young doctors in cardiology specialization training combine their work and other areas of their lives that they consider important and draw attention to the problems of being junior doctors with a vision to use the obtained results to improve their conditions both for work and for quality of life. Qualitative research techniques were utilized and data were obtained from semi-structured interviews with our respondents. The theoretical part of this thesis presents the informations and concepts regarding balance between work versus private life concerning their interdependencies. It focuses both on professional and social aspects and their eventual conflict. Partly, it maps motivation: motivators (motives and aspirations), which led these young doctors in their lives and careers, as shared motives characterize the level of content and identification with professional roles and their professional aspirations. Bariatric Surgery and Obese Patients' Motivation

This diploma thesis deals with obese patients' motivation to undergo or refuse a bariatric surgery in obesity treatment. The aim of the thesis was to create an overview of patient's motivation to undergo or refuse a bariatric surgery, to show an obese patient's situation (a candidate for a bariatric surgery) from a closer perspective and offer recommendations for the work with obese patients. The qualitative research method in a form of a semistructured interview with the obese patients, who are being treated in obesity ambulances, and with the psychologists, who work with obese patients, was used to analyse the theme of the research. The eight interviews were conducted and analysed with open coding. Obese patients are motivated to undergo a bariatric surgery by improvement of their health, increased attractiveness and by expectation of their obesity's final solution. Obese patients don't want to undergo a bariatric surgery because they're convinced, that they could manage to lose weight and keep it without undergoing a bariatric surgery. Estabilishment of Chaplaincy Service at the Hospital in Cheb

Establishment of Chaplaincy Service at the Hospital in Cheb This thesis describes the process of implementation of the hospital chaplain service in a hospital in Cheb, including a description of the obstacles and problems related to organizational culture change in this medical device. The aim of launching this new service was to contribute in improving the quality of services through complementing existing health services with the spiritual dimension of patient care. In the theoretical part the thesis focuses on knowledge about ecumenically-scale pastoral work of the hospital chaplains in the specific environment of hospitals. These findings are derived from publicly available sources - from secondary sources, or from websites. The practical part of the thesis describes the sequential steps that have been made in the implementation of chaplaincy services in Cheb hospital. The practical part contains interview with a professional chaplain, an experienced priest and nurses of Cheb hospital and a subsequent analysis of these interviews. Processed outputs of the interviews were then applied in the process of individualization of services according to the specific needs of this hospital. Everyday life in the period of socialism in the Podblanicko region

The topic of the thesis deals with everyday life in Podblanicko Region during the socialist era. This is a local research that tries to show the memories of rural people on the period of normalization, defined by the 70s and 80s of the 20th century, in terms of food, clothing and housing. The research deals with the strategies, tactics and improvisations of the inhabitants of this region in the period of socialism, among other things focused on the lack of required goods in shops, poor supply, searching for not very high-quality construction materials and fashionable clothes. Apart from individual expressions, it deals with community style that inherently belongs to the rural population. The era of socialism is strongly ingrained in the mind of the people who lived at that time. It is clear from many sources that before the year 1989 people in the countryside did not live just meaningless lives, remarked and emptied by a totalitarian regime. In many cases, they tried to ignore the regime or they just were not interested in it. In their everyday life they created values, which were more important to them. The dog as a member of the society and family

The work is focused on the issue of relations between people and their dogs in a selected group. Its aim is to present what relationships are created between people and their dogs and if there are such cases when the relationship that has been developed with a dog, replaces, complements or simulates to its owner any of interpersonal relationships. And finally, how such relationships look like and for what reasons can be formed. The work consists of a theoretical part, which includes a chapter summarizing the current state of knowledge of the subject, thus representing the relevant literature and authors who have worked on and written about the same or similar field already. In addition, the chapter briefly describes the history of men and dogs union, moment of their connection and the development of relationships and roles. The work also contains a research part, an empirical survey. The research approach is a qualitative survey, mainly driven by scenarios interviews and observations.
