3D Scanning System Proposal for Plastic Parts
Palátová, Zuzana ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Sámelová, Vendula (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on monitoring and description of the current state of plastic injection molding production and analysis of methods for measuring these parts. Measurement methods are described and at the same time the measurement issues associated with individual types of meters for specific plastic parts are presented. Based on the analysis of measuring systems, a design of the measuring device in the form of a 3D optical scan is subsequently created, which is optimal for the selected plastic components. When choosing a 3D optical scanner, a demand is created that takes into account the necessary technical parameters required by the corporate environment. A selected proposal is presented at the end of my work.
Design of the process of input control of deliveries in the company
Ondřejová, Kateřina ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The thesis analyzes the current state of the process of incoming inspection in the company. It describes the current state of the process in the company and subsequent processes that are part of the whole organization. The thesis uses the PDCA methodology to define the weak points in the measurement system, which are parts of entry control. Furthermore, it will explain how tools and their applications are used to improve the measurement system the follow-up of the incoming inspection. Ultimately I would like to avoid an increase in low quality parts in the incoming inspection process. By implementing the defined methodologies, the data can be considered eligible and can be subsequently presented throughout the whole process.
Evaluation of Surface Texture Profile Parameters and Verifying of Conformity with the Specification in the Drawing
Kupský, David ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Sámelová, Vendula (advisor)
The first part of the thesis is devoted to the development of the current state of knowledge in the field of surface texture assessment using the profile method. The next part is the analysis of the problem and the proposal of a solution for the evaluation of surface texture with the consideration of measurement uncertainties in accordance with the ISO GPS system. Proposal of measurement and evaluation of the given sample was carried out for the demonstration. The measurement was started using a contact profilometer and then the profile parameters were calculated in the TalyProfile Lite software. Three different specifications were chosen for the calculated geometric parameters to outline all the possibilities that can arise when determining compliance with the specification. The proposal with consideration of uncertainties was compared with the evaluation method according to ČSN EN 4288 and from that were deducated conclusions and recommendations.

Design of internal MSA methodology in the company
Tesařová, Tereza ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to design suitable procedures for the internal MSA methodology, by means of which a company operating in the automotive industry determines the acceptability of a measurement system. The thesis contains a brief description and comparison of MSA, VDA 5 and ČSN ISO 22514-7 methodologies. It focuses in more detail on the evaluation of acceptability according to the MSA methodological manual. The tools for statistical data evaluation are also compared. The output of the work is an internal methodology with procedures for quantitative and qualitative data, with their analysis and statistical evaluation using selected software.
Design of an Internal Methodology for MSA of Attributive Data in the Company
Jaroš, David ; Maradová, Karla (referee) ; Sámelová, Vendula (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of an internal methodology for MSA of attributive data in the company following a finding in the IATF 16949:2016 audit. The thesis text aims to map the current trends in approaches to attributional MSA analysis with a focus on visual inspection. Based on the theoretical findings, a new company methodology is to be subsequently proposed. The defined aims of this thesis were fulfilled, resulting in a methodology that meets the company's requirements as well as the methods described in the relevant manuals. The proposed methodology uses the cross-tab method, which describes the analysis of attributional data without knowledge of the reference. The result of the analysis are kappa coefficients, which determine the measure of agreement in the evaluation, and efficiency values of the measurement system. By following the principles described in this thesis, it is possible to generalize the proposed methodology for use in other companies.
Metrological characteristics of the Hexagon´s Absolute Arm 83
Polášek, Ondřej ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Marek, Tomáš (advisor)
This study analyzes current trends in metrology in the field of portable coordinate measuring machines and describes current methods for measurement system and process evaluation. Obtained knowledge is applied, in order to evaluate the capability of measurement system, which consists of articulated measurement arm and measurement standard.
Design of a measuring equipment for distance sensors calibration
Zindler, Lukáš ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This study aimed deals with the design of a calibration equipment for an inductive distance sensor. The theoretical part provides a basic overview of metrology and the state of knowledge in the field of sensors. In the practical part, several concepts of measuring equipment are suggested, a suitable calibration equipment is selected and assembled, and at last the compensation of the systematic error of the sensor is performed.
On the Effective Machining of New Ceramic Materials
Sámelová, Vendula ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Vrba, Vladimír (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
Advanced ceramics have long held the front of the list of promising materials for high-tech applications. The most common problem is the high cost of design, production and machining of advanced ceramics parts. The main sense of advanced ceramics processing techniques development is affordable, high-volume production. The dissertation is focused on SiC silicon carbide grinding. SiC is used in the design of machine parts due to its excellent properties The deep knowledge of the diamond wheel grinding process is important because it is one of the finishing methods and therefore has a direct impact on the quality and strength of the SiC parts. The key issue here is the overall surface quality of the parts after diamond wheel grinding and the knowledge of the factors that influence the surface quality. These include, in particular, grinding vibrations. The main purpose of the thesis is to create a system of specific scientific and technical information, which will allow applying optimal technological procedures in the processing of ceramic components. The theoretical part of the thesis contains an analysis of the current state of the art in the advanced ceramics machining area, detailed analysis of the ceramics grinding with diamond grinding wheels, signal analysis theory and analysis of surface quality assessment methods. The experimental part contains analysis and discussion of the results obtained during the monitoring of the silicon carbide grinding process with a diamond grinding wheel. Various diagnostic methods have confirmed the presence of vibrations at a frequency close to the speed frequency of the grinding wheel, which had a significant, negative effect on the samples surface quality. Vibration diagnostics has identified a specific source of vibration (clamping of the workpiece) and it has been removed subsequently.
