Traffic image sequence classification
Vomela, Miroslav ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The article introduces a general survey of concepts used in traffic monitoring applications. It describes different approaches for solving particular steps of vehicle detection process. Analysis of these methods was performed. Furthermore this work focuses on the design and realization of complex robust algorithm for real-time vehicle detection. It is based on analysis of video-sequence acquired from static camera situated on highway. Processing consists of many steps. It starts with background subtraction and ends with traffic monitoring results, i.e. average speed, number of cars, level of service etc.
Device for scanning the museum collection
Drapač, Lukáš ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with designing and construction of the device, which should improve the digitalization of the museum collection of Easter eggs in terms of effectiveness and data presentation. This thesis presents design of the device, which was printed on a 3D printer, and the hardware components of the device. Programs for controlling the device and rendering 3D models of Easter eggs were written in C++, C# and Java. When started, the device takes pictures around the perimeter of the Easter egg and processes them. The results are 3D models, which can be viewed from Gallery in the desktop application.
Image processing using Android device - automatic detection and recognition of business cards
Krčmář, Martin ; Klečka, Jan (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The aim of this Master´s thesis is designing and developing Android application, which will be used for automatic recognition of business cards and import the contact information. The first part describes the history, architecture and development tools of operating system Android. The second part is an analysis of selected computer vision methods that were used during developing application. Libraries OpenCV and Tessaract OCR are described in this part. The main part describes the development of the application with conditions and limitations for the proper function of the application. The final part is an evaluation of the success and recognition of importing contact information from business cards.
Defects classification
Benda, Jan ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The thesis deals with a concept and creation of classifiers of defects found on continuous production lines. The first part presents an overview of methods used for image classification and a analysis of defects. The main part of the thesis consist of a description of created classifier interface and graphical user interface for classifier. The last part sums up reliability of each implemented classifer.
Videodetection - traffic monitoring
Kozina, Lubomír ; Beszédeš,, Marián (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
In this master’s thesis on the topic Videodetection - traffic monitoring I was engaged in searching moving objects in traffic images sequence. There are described various methods background model computation and moving vehicles marking, counting or velocity calculating in the thesis. It was created a graphical user interface for traffic scene evaluation in MATLAB.
Machine Learning Concepts for Categorization of Objects in Images
Hubený, Marek ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This work is focused on objects and scenes recognition using machine learning and computer vision tools. Before the solution of this problem has been studied basic phases of the machine learning concept and statistical models with accent on their division into discriminative and generative method. Further, the Bag-of-words method and its modification have been investigated and described. In the practical part of this work, the implementation of the Bag-of-words method with the SVM classifier was created in the Matlab environment and the model was tested on various sets of publicly available images.
Defect detection using smart camera
Hons, Viktor ; Boštík, Ondřej (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This thesis deals with the application of smart cameras and verification of its functions. In the first part the term smart camera is defined, the parts of it and the most common applications are presented. A review of smart cameras from the different manufactures on the market is made. After selection of the proper camera model three task from real industrial application are specified – inspection of capacitor print, inspection of beer label and dimension measurement. With the picked camera the tasks are performed, including the layout of workplace, scene and lighting. Further the reliability is tested together with the successfulness and the speed of designed solution.
Dynamic Time Warping for Vehicle Classification
Halachkin, Aliaksei ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the dynamic time warping. During the work was written C/Python library. Using this library, the algorithm was subsequently applied for the vehicle classification based on their shapes. Testing had been performed on real data from a laser scanner. Then the algorithm had been compared to the correlation and Euclidean distance. Finally, laboratory model had been created, which demonstrates vehicle recognition using dynamic time warping.
Image processing using Android device
Korchakov, Sergei ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This master’s Thesis focuses on image processing on Android platform and development of an application, that is able to do face detection and recognition in real scene. Thesis gives highlight of modern algorithms of face detection. It first examines and compares the standard features of Android platform (FaceDetector a FaceDetectionListener) and JJIL, OpenIMAJ, OpenCV libraries experiment, and presents the results. For purposes of face recognition was selected OpenCV library. Three different algorithms of identification were tested: FisherFaces, EigenFaces a Local Binary Patterns Histograms. Based on performance comparison best methods were implemented in developed application.
Detection of printing defects
Boček, Václav ; Boštík, Ondřej (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and subsequent implementation of a unit inspecting a printed logos on the pen surface. A line-scan camera is used to capture the object. Whole the unit including acquited data processing is controlled by Raspberry Pi 4 platform extended by perifery board. The control of the hardware parts is implemented in C++, the detection algorithms in Python using OpenCV and TensorFlow libraries. The unit has a graphical user interface for control of the inspection process. In the end of the thesis test of the unit reliability is shown.
