HC08-Based Controller of a Step Motor
Hájek, Josef ; Růžička, Richard (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor's work deals with issue of stepper motors and their control using single-chip microcontrollers. Target of the work is to be familiar with method of operation of stepper motors, with their abilities and restrictions in case there are used in built-in devices.     The part of the work is a proposal of control unit of chosen stepper motor and interconnection with developmental kit 908LJ12-G2. Implementation part of the work contains software for eight-bit microcontroller Motorola MC68HC908LJ12 programmed in language C. The stepper motor can be controlled by this program using the available kit's interfaces.
Configuration Software for INELS
Ctibor, Jiří ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis describe proposal and implementation of configuration software for intelligent wiring INELS designed by ELKO EP Ltd . This system is used to controls equipment in buildings and appliances trought central unit. The final application allows the user to design proposal and offer for customers simply by adding the units and linking devices. This work describe the analysis requirements for the configurator, graphic user interface and implementation of application.
Management and Monitoring of RouterOS Devices in Small Networks
Leštinský, Ondřej ; Novotný, Tomáš (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the design and implementation of an information system that can remotely configure the device running RouterOS. The main features of system is the administration of clients who can connect to a network through a system of registered devices. All clients connection speed can be limited and viewed their current status. All registered devices can be displayed on the map. The management system can perform only authorized administrators.
RouterOS Devices Central Management System
Klíč, Antonín ; Procházka, Boris (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to design and create the central management system for simple controlling company's gateway router running with RouterOS Mikrotik via web interface. Using this central management system you can control almost all basic and any expert settings. All the settings are saved immediately in the router via secured SSH connection and synchronized with the local database simultaneously for optimal performance. Central management system has been written using Nette PHP framework with Dibi diabase layer and HTML script language.
Collision Avoidance System for Mobile Robot
Dzuro, Daniel ; Hájek, Josef (referee) ; Herman, David (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the anti-collision system for mobile robot which is often liable to the collisions with other objects. Expensive parts of the robot could be saved thanks to the system. The main issue of the thesis was to design the system of premature reaction and it's application to the existing system which would help prevent the collision on time. Not only the breaking system was used to stop or slow down the vehicle but also the cooperation with the prediction of the vehicle's direction control was needed. Laser rangefinder and ultrasonic sonar were mainly used for this purpose.
Linux Keylogger
Pivarník, Jozef ; Hájek, Josef (referee) ; Procházka, Boris (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis collaborates on methods of logging key strokes in linux kernel in order to reveal secret passwords. Two methods are presented, both of which are useful for specific purpose. While the first one is effective in catching passwords typed in linux terminal environment, the other one intercepts every key stroke, even in a graphical user interface, and is designed to be working on the lowest level.
Generating of Topology Map in RouterOS Based Networks
Vlk, Vladimír ; Hanáček, Petr (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with creating web applications that can map the network topology based on system RouterOS and generate map of connection. The first part deals with the system RouterOS and mapping technologies. The second part is devoted to describing used technology and design functions of application. The last part deals with the implementation of applications and integration technologies described in the previous part.
Energy Meter with Ethernet Interface
Binek, Tomáš ; Dluhoš, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is dedicated to the means of measuring electrical power consuption by embedded systems with subsequent ability to present data on a computer network. The basic principles of operation of analogue and digital energy meters are discussed. The thesis contains a design of an Ethernet-enabled energy meter based on MCP3909 integrated circuit and microcontroller PIC18F97J60. A way of presenting energy meter output using a HTML page and parsing this page on a PC is suggested in the implementation part of this document.
Implementation of Algorithm for Recognition of Eye Retina
Ondroušek, Jan ; Stružka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
Vessel structure is a very important element in medical sience for diagnosis of eye and cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, its automatic segmentation is very important too. In introduction there is a short description of eye retina. After that, method of implementation is presented according to Ing. Jan Odstrčilík's thesis - Analyze of colour retinal images aimed to segmentation of vessel structures created under the auspices of Brno University of Technology - Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Department of Biomedical Engineering in 2008. This method is based on filtering input image with properly designed filtering masks, followed by thresholding with properly calculated value and finally cleaning result image from artefacts. Algorithm was written in C++ language. All important functions were implemented for purpose of given method with consideration on speed and accuray. Main sections of source code with description of user interface are introduced next in this thesis. At the end, the implementation was tested on real images from ÚBMI and DRIVE databases, results were recorded, expansions and adjustments possibilities of implementation were debated.
Ethernet to RS-232 Converter
Dreiseitel, Jiří ; Novotný, Tomáš (referee) ; Hájek, Josef (advisor)
The thesis deals with construction of a convertor between Ethernet a RS-232 serial interface using a single-chip microcontroller. The aim is to make the reader acquainted with the technology of an Ethernet network and serial transfer based on RS-232 protocol. The embedded systems for the convertor construction are also explained. The thesis contains a complete design of Ethernet to RS-232 convertor including firmware analysis and implementation in C language using LwIP TCP/IP stack. The convertor has been built on STM3210C-eval development kit, equipped with STM32 family microcontroller. The conclusion describes testing in model situations and recommended usage.
