Use of cell cultures to test cytotoxicity of natural substances

This thesis is aimed on study of cell cultures, primarily on introduction of techniques for cultivation of human cells and optimization of their usage in cytotoxicity tests. The thesis is aimed preferably on natural substances and liposomes that are suitable to be used in cosmetics. Theoretical part contains literature review focused on overview of cell cultures, appropriate cultivation conditions for in vitro testing and summary of cytotoxicity tests. Experimental part contains characteristics of natural extracts with antimicrobial effect in terms of content of polyphenols, flavonoids and antioxidant activity. Further, these extracts were encapsulated into the liposomes. Encapsulation effectivity was determined. Distribution of particles size by dynamic light scattering and finally also stability of prepared particles were also determined. Long-term stability in water and gel environment was tested too. This thesis also contains study of optimization of cell culture of human skin keratinocytes cultivation and use of those cells for testing cytotoxicity of selected natural substances by MTT method.

Problems of the school uniforms

v anglickém jazyce My bachelor thesis is dedicated to social and practical problems of the school uniforms. I study the description of uniforms in general, the history of schools uniforms in The Czech Republic and practical use of school uniforms nowadays in the various parts of the world. I also describe the experience of wearing school uniforms in 3 schools in The Czech Republic. I study the research examination in the practical part, the characteristics of models, the description of research methods and the process of the research itself. My bachelor thesis and research should be useful addition to the perspective of MŠMT to establish school uniform in schools in The Czech Republic.

Importance of Education in the Fight against Corruption

This thesis is concentrated to problems anti-corruption education. The notion of corruption, its causes and sorts, norms of corruption, the relation of corruption with ethics, sociology, economics and law. The place is given also to important differences between the situation in countries with an unbroken continuity of democracy. The sociological research was conducted to determine the attitudes of students to corruption. On the basis of defined sets of problems which should be the focus of anti-corruption education and formulated recommendations based on the requirements of pro-social education. Institutions helping the handicapped citizens in the Chomutov area

v anglickém jazyce The diploma thesis deals with the institutions offering their services to handicapped citizens in Chomutov and surroundings. Its goal is to chart this area, specifically the towns Chomutov, Jirkov, Klášterec nad Ohří and Kadaň and explain the work of the institutions, which are working with the handicapped people. It will also deal with the social services in the Czech Republic in general. There will be two research methods in the diploma thesis - investigating of the relevant internet sources and also the personal visits of the chosen institutions, observations and conversations, if their realisation is possible. The investigation's object will primarily be the operation of these institutions, financing, legislation or clients' and employees' satisfaction and so on. The thesis can well serve as a map of the institutions for the handicapped citizens for those interested in these services as well as for the public who will be interested in getting to know more about these institutions. Methods of acclimatizing elementary students into the formal learning environment

This diploma thesis focuses on the theme of entering elementary education and on the period of adaptation. The theoretical part indicates the characteristics of a pupil at the beginning of compulsory schooling and also of current elementary school. The term of entering elementary education is state from the view of law as well as the view of psychology and pedagogy. A part of the thesis focuses on the problematic of early training and postponed education. Another chapters present adaptation on schooling, possible problems and also specifics of work ofteachers during this period. The empiric part turns attention to variety of entry procedures on the base of aims, school and family cooperation and the concept. Attached is a research on the field of specifics of work of elementary teachers in Czech schools.
