Dispersoids in aluminium alloys
Veselý, Jozef ; Cieslar, Miroslav (advisor) ; Karlík, Miroslav (referee)
As a preparation for the study of dispersed particles in the aluminium alloys the ALCHEMI method was tested on a simple model material. This method combines the X-ray spectrum analysis and the dynamic diffraction to provide the information on site occupancies. The site preference of Cr in the Fe3Al and FeAl materials was studied. Measured variation of the X-ray yields with the orientation near the Bragg position was fitted by the calculated curves. We found that 70 resp. 80 % of Cr occupy the Al sublattice.

In Ni rich Ni–Ti alloys, various phases such as hexagonal Ni3Ti, cubic NiTi2 and rhombohedral Ni4Ti3 appear during heat treatment. The presence of these precipitates affects the shape memory effect and superelasticity in an important manner. In this paper we present a study of the phase evolution during annealing of the Ni–48at.%Ti shape memory alloy elaborated by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS). Morphology and crystallography of the phases were examined by means of light metallography, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), neutron and X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). Besides the phases mentioned in the\nliterature, a Ni-rich phase with the composition near Ni3Ti2 stoichiometry and having a cubic symmetry was found. This phase develops from Ni4Ti3 particles during slow (furnace) cooling from the temperature of 1000 °C. Its particles have the form of thin platelets coherent with the (B2) NiTi matrix. The orientation relation is either cube-to-cube, [111]P || [115]B2 and (1-10)P || (1-10)B2 or [011]P || [011]B2 and (1-10)P || (1-41)B2.\n

ABSTRACT Bc.Karlík, Martin Department of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology. Analysis of CISCO networking protocols This semestral thesis is focused on CISCO networks and protocols like MPLS, BGP, Ipv4, Ipv6, Multicast – sprase / dense mode. The task was study of those protocols and design and implement lab excercise with one of those protocols by using free network simulator GNS3. In this excercise is used CISCO router 3745.
Trade relations between EU and China
Karlík, Martin ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Trojanová, Kamila (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse development of mutual trade relations between European Union and China and try to predict its development. Trade relations went through significant changes in last several years. It might even be the beginning of a new trend. What hinders further development are trade barriers, several trade disputes even had to be repeatedly adjudicated by WTO. Despite these disputes the future trade relations seem rather positive. Both parties signed EU-China 2020 agenda for cooperation, which declares effort in pursuit of further cooperation. I am expecting that in future more opportunities will occur for exports from European Union. The growth of China's gross domestic product is expected to stay at 7% annually. Minimal wages are rising and so does domestic consumption. As income grows the consumption patterns shift toward more service based product and that means an opportunity for European exporters. China is also home of more than two millions dollar millionaires and since foreign luxurious brand are widely preferred in China this could be another potential source of European exports growth.

The work is devoted to experimental and theoretical studies of the brittle-ductile behavior at the crack front of the crack (110)[001] that in fracture experiments deviated under angle 45 degrees with respect of the original direction of the potential crack extension. In the framework of experiments, beside the fracture tests, also scanninc electron microscopy and acoustic emission detection were performed. Theoretical studies are based on 3D atomistic simulations by molecular dynamic technique at room temperature.

Two different approaches were successfully used to simulate deformation processes in the vicinity of edge notches in bcc iron. As well as in experiments performed on Fe-3%Si single crystals, the strong dependence of plastic behavior on boundary conditions was found by modeling.
