Two different approaches were successfully used to simulate deformation processes in the vicinity of edge notches in bcc iron. As well as in experiments performed on Fe-3%Si single crystals, the strong dependence of plastic behavior on boundary conditions was found by modeling. Byly úspěšně použity dva různé přístupy k modelování plastických procesů v blízkosti vrubu alfa-Fe. Stejně jako v provedených experimentech na monokrystalech Fe-3%Si byla při modelování zjištěna silná závislost plastického chování na okrajových podmínkách.
