Movement regime, eating habits in girls aged from 15 to 19 years in the capital city Prague

The thesis deals with movement regime and eating habits of girls aged between fifteen and nineteen years in the capital city of Prague. The research sample was selected in high schools all over Prague. The theoretical part of the thesis explains concepts on healthy lifestyle, benefits of physical activity, healthy nutrition, also the consequences of hypokinesia and obesity. The practical part is primarly focused on the research examining the file above. The girls are queried by the poll in which they will answer all kinds of questions. Results are presented in tables and graphs.
Influence of Senior Citizens' Active Lifestyle on Their Mental Condition

Title: Influence of Senior Citizens' Active Lifestyle on Their Mental Condition Aim of the thesis: The main aim of the thesis is to assess, on the basis of a survey, whether there is a connection between quantity of physical activity and depression in senior citizens. Senior age brings various limitations and problems. Among them there are mental problems, primarily depressions. There is a question whether the problem can be influenced, namely by physical activity. If yes, by what quantity of physical activity. Methods: The bachelor thesis is solved by the form of a survey done in Prague. On the basis of one survey I inquired what quantity of physical activity the respondents had per week. I classified it on the scale from 1 to 3. Using another standardized survey I inquired what level of depression the senior citizens suffered. I classified the results on the scale of 1 - 15. I compared the data and drew conclusions. Results: The thesis led to the result that active lifestyle has significant influence on mental health of senior citizens. 47% of respondents did not state any physical activity, on the average their depression ranges on the limit between medium and serious depression. Topic: Paleo Diet Objectives: The aim of bachelor thesis is to study available literature about Paleo Diet and evaluated it. Then determine whether there is awareness of Paleo Diet in Czech republic. In addition, find out whether there is any experience in dieting according to Paleo Diet and whether Paleo Diet coul be applied in our environment. Methods: As a source of information served a survey. The research group consists of respondents who should have any experience in dieting according to Paleo Diet. The results are presented by using frequency tables and charts using the functions in Excel or data analysis at www.survio.cz. Results: Some people in Czech republic have experience in dieting according to Paleo Diet and i tis positively evaluated. This was find out because of knowlegde from literature and information got from survey. Also physical aktivity has a important role and place in life style according to Paleo Diet. Title: The muscular unbalance and the opportunity of their correction Goals: To create the summary of the muscular unbalance and the proceeding disorder of the postural system and the current methods of their reduction. To form the set of the exercises intended for the wide number of population to lead to the correction of the muscular unbalance and to the improvement of the conditions of the motion system. Method: The analysis of the literary resources and their comparison Results: Muscular unbalance is divided into three basic areas that they have fundamental influence on the poor posture. We evaluate the posture and the condition of the muscular tension and the strength as the methods of discovering of the condition of the motion system. To improve this condition we use the methods concerning the equalization of the muscular unbalance. We have found that the improvement is only possible when the set of the exercises contains the stretching and strengthening exercises supplemented with the breathing exercises and with the practice of the proper motion stereotypes. Title: Influence of Physical Activity over Self-care and Quality of Life of Elderly People Living at Home Objectives: The main objectives of this thesis are measuring the level of the physical activities of elderly people living at home and the analysis of the influence of these activities on their independence in everyday activities and on their quality of life. Methods: For research I choose a questionnaire survey as main metod. To collect data for the research I used physical activity questionnaire which I created specifically for this thesis, Barthel Index the standardized self-care test, SQUALA questionnaire measuring the quality of live. To verify my hypothesis I statistically evaluated the outcomes of the tests and questionnaires. For this purpose I used the descriptive statistics in the computer program Microsoft Office Excell. Effect of health exercises and swimming for women after breast cancer Abstract Defining the problem: The theoretical part of the thesis will be devoted to course of illness and subsequent convalescence of women with breast cancer. We will give a list of suitable health exercises that are applicable in the gym and at home. The next part will be devoted to the benefits of the movement program in the water. We will focus on swimming stroke breaststroke and backstroke. The practical part will contain the data from the input diagnosis before the application motion program, the program and the output diagnosis after four months of movement intervention. Objective: The aim of this work is to create movement program for improvement of locomotive system women after breast ablation, which is composed of the health exercises applicable in the gym and in the water. Method of solution: Probands undergo the entry diagnostic, which is comprised from anthropometry, goniometry and interview about their day's physical activities. Output diagnosis is ensues after four months of movement intervention and it is same as the input diagnosis. The resulting values will be compared. Title: Reasons for development of childhood obesity not related with health condition. Objectives: This thesis is focused on the subject matter of reasons for development of children's obesity not related with the health condition. I will work with children aged 11 to 15 years from the primary school ZŠ Velké Přílepy and the grammar school Gymnázium Nad Štolou in Prague. The target of this thesis include assessment of life style, movement activities and diet habits of children in an urban and a rural school. Namely such factors or conditions will be covered like lack of movement and sedentary life style, unsuitable diet habits and excessive eating, pressure of the environment, family conditions, social and economic life conditions, etc. Differences between the two mentioned schools will be examined and BMI of all children considered. Methods: The quantitative method - an inquiry - is used to achieve the results. A series of 14 closed questions focused on obtaining information from children of the two different schools. From the closed questions (age, body weight and body height) their BMI will be calculated. Together 160 children submitted the inquiry.
