Pánková, Kateřina ; Šouša, Jiří (referee) ; Kubů, Eduard (advisor)
The goal of my work is to analyse the trade mark and it's possibly utilization in competitors fight of pilsner breweries at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. I try to use different points of view, for example the aesthetic, or juridical. In all instances was important for me to look on the trade mark as substantial part of enterprise's know-how. My work presents some new points of view of the part of trade mark, especially as an active instrument in competitors fight. The mark wasn't only a passive instrument, but it was possible to use it to for preventive defence against the competition. 56

Klabusay, Antonín ; Miškovská, Zuzana (referee) ; Šouša, Jiří (advisor)
In the second half of the nineteenth century, together with the downfall of the neoabsolutism, began i. a. the evolution of society life in the Czech lands. Among the societies, the gymnastic and touristic societies took a very significant position, which was even strengthened after the creation of the republic of Czechoslovakia. The gymnastic movement was strongly represented also in the Kolín area, where Sokol [Falcon] Kolín was the first established in 1862. Since 1906 the DTJ (Dělnické tělocvičné jednoty [Workmen's gymnastic unions]) were being formed, since 1920 the Orel [Eagle] unions were being established and in 1921 the first FDTJ (Federované dělnické tělocvičné jednoty [Federated workmen's gymnastic unions]) was established. In year 1921 the first touristic society, called KČST (Klub Československých turistů [Czechoslovak tourist Club]) Kolín was formed, but in total there was a significantly smaller number of the touristic societies than the gymnastic societies. Overall it is now possible to find in the incomplete federal cadaster, deposited in the archive in Kolin, 98 gymnastic societies established in 52 municipalities before the year 1939, 43 of which are the Sokol societies, 31 of which are the DTJ, 5 of which are Orel unions and 19 of which were FDTJ. Only three touristic societies are...

Jedináková, Jiřina ; Míšková, Alena (referee) ; Šouša, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of the work lS to present the founding, the relatively short history, and the organization of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic. Elaborating the creation and development of an important institution connected with science and scholarship, one that participates ln the life of contemporary society, including an understanding of this group' s historical roots, could contribute to the overall view of the formulation and the peripety of scientific potential and institutional fundamentals in the Czech Republic. The Learned Society of the Czech Republic was founded on 10 May 1994 at a ceremonial session in Prague' s Carolinum with the signing of the "Declaration of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic." The first part of my work focuses on the driving forces that led to the founding of the Society. In the "Declaration" the Society aligned itself with the traditions of the Royal Czech Society of the Sciences, and for this reason I present basic information regarding this predecessor to the newly founded Learned Society of the Czech Republic. The Royal Czech Society of the Sciences was founded in the second half of the 18th century.
