Vector Based 2D Drawing Program
Chroboczek, Martin ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis solves the issue of vector computer graphics and its creation. At the beginning there is a brief overview of available software tools with examples of typical application areas. It is followed by a description of 2D vector graphics editors, which are the primary focus. Described is a typical user interface of such programs, together with a description of the basic features and functionality of these applications. After the theoretical part is followed by the design our own vector based 2D drawing program, including its implementation, the tools and core technologies. Finally, there is included an evaluation of the results, assessing the future directions of the project.
Displaying 3D Graphics in Web Browser
Sychra, Tomáš ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with display of accelerated 3D graphics in a web browser environment. Existing technologies such as WebGL are presented and discussed. Further, in the second part of the thesis, an application for browsing medical volumetric data is designed and implemented. The application is built with the WebGL technology and Javascript graphics engine called O3D API.
Tooth Detection on Jaw 3D Computer Polygonal Model
Hulík, Rostislav ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This document discusses a concept and implementation of algorithms for teeth detection on 3D polygonal jaw model. At first, I describe possible shape detection techniques on three dimensional computer model, including utilization just in my case. After it, I analyze filtration problems of obtained model segments in order to reliably separate regions of tooth-arch from the rest of jaw. I included all these pieces of knowledge into a final application. Here, it is possible to choose from two user interfaces, first, classic user interface which demonstrates possible utilization in real world and second, testing interface which demonstrates functions of each detection and filtration method used in program and their effect on detection. Application is written in C++ language in development environment of MS Visual Studio 2005 and compiled with MS VS internal compiler. Tested was under MS Windows XP and MS Windows Vista OS.
Tool Path Generation for 3 Axes Polygonal Models Milling
Nedvědický, Jan ; Hulík, Rostislav (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with tool path generation for 3-axis milling based on 3D polygonal models. First part introduces basic terms and related topics. Main part is devoted to description of techniques and problems related to implementation of simple tool path generator. Simple milling strategies based on tool movement restricted in plane are discussed. This thesis includes implementation of plugin for OpenFlipper application where described techniques are used and practicaly verified.
Education Computer Program for Demonstration of Colors and Colors Models Principles
Štěpán, Petr ; Jančík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis describes the principles used when working with color palettes and with the reduction of color space of images in computer graphics. Special attention has been paid to their explanation for educational purposes. It should help even a user not familiar with these algorithms better understand their principles and application. A computer program written in the Java language has been designed to demonstrate and fulfill these goals.
Automatic Producing of Cranial Implant Edge Surface
Hrdý, Libor ; Bartoň, Radek (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis is focused to problems of automatic generation of border surface for cranial implant. This document includes description of 3D modeling human tissue, followed with issue of cranial implant. Next it includes possible perspectives of solving automatic generation problems for implant border. Second half of this document is focused to implementation of tool for automatic generation of border surface. Final part deals with results of work with this tool.
3D Volume Rendering Data Visualization
Kazík, Jiří ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
Theoretical part of this project is focused on rendering of volumetric data. It compares and appraise individual methods and thus readers get a good basic knowledge of commonnest causes of problems. Texture Mapped Volume Rendering and Volume Ray-casting methods are described in detail and the latter method is used in implementation of graphic system designed in this thesis. Secondary goals of this work are usage of less powerful hardware for volume-rendering, methods of optimization and dynamic change of output quality.
Scene Ilumination by Photon Mapping Method
Hübner, Lukáš ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis deals with the estimation of global illumination of a~scene. Global illumination is expressed as a~physical simulation in connection with illumination methods used in current computer graphics. In the practical part there is expressed an implementation of global illumination estimation using photon maps.
Rendering Complex 3D Scenes
Mrkvička, Tomáš ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with representation of large and complex 3D scenes which are usually used by modern computer games. Main aim is design and implementation of data driven rendering system. Proper rendering is directed (driven) by scene description. This description is also designed with respect to scene creators whose typically do not have deep knowledge of programming languages in contrast to game programming developers. First part is focused on design of efficient scene description and its possible applications at scene rendering. Second part is focused on proper system implementation. Finally, consequently important system optimizations are mentioned too.
Database Archive of Image Medical Data
Sára, Vítězslav ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This Thesis deals with the problems of medical image data management. It analyzes a metadata extraction problem from medical format DICOM and their efficient saving. System is designed as a client-server application. System provides an interface for DICOM data storing, interface for searching, data editing and exporting. System cooperatives with the collaborative system VCE. Implementation was carried out in C++ and PHP language with support of SQLite and MySQL database.
