Opinions of pupils from primary school on inclusion of sports games in physical education classes with a focus on basketball

The thesis is about the opinions of pupils from primary school on the inclusion of sports games in physical education classes with a focus on basketball. The thesis's target group are students from second and fifth grade, their teachers, and kids from sport summer camp. The goal is to find out about student's favorite sports games at secondary grammar school and see if basketball fits their preferences. Furthermore, through quality scaling see at what level are basketball skills such as dribbling and shooting. The theoretical part concludes didactic aspects in PE, sports games, and basketball itself. For the research purposes, the questionnaire was created specifically for students and teachers. For quality measurements of dribbling and shooting a chart was created to find out the right technique. The outcome of data was used as a method of a quantity which was then further shown on the graphs. The type of graphs was either showcased as pie charts and bar charts. For quality, measurements were used as a detailed statistic of more precise measurements on the chart and the arithmetic mean. Sports training of goalie in hockeyball

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the goalie training in hockeyball. Its largest part is dedicated to the training of goalkeepers in the age group 9 - 11 years, aiming to design the most suitable training program that would help them improve the level of their movement skills. The effectiveness of the training plan will be verified by motoric tests and the achieved results of the training sample will be compared with the results of the control sample.
Pond Hockey World Championship, history, present, comparison of performance of male and female teams.

The diploma thesis is maping the World Pond Hockey Championship which helds place in Canada. The aim of this work is to analyze and characterize men's and women's teams that has participated at World Pond Hockey Championship. In the theoretical part of the thesis I was focusing on the history of men's and women's hockey on natural ice surfaces. I also characterized the World Pond Hockey Championship, rules of this sport and other big pond hockey tournaments. The practical part is devodet to the analyze of differencies between regular World Ice Hockey Championship and World Pond Hockey Championship. Furthermore the practical part analyzes men's and women's teams that has competed at the World Pond Hockey Championship. The analyze was done by my own observation, interviews with the players and coaches and also by the quantitative research from relevant sources.
Development of physical exercises for young in Sokol organisation after 1990

Sokol is a body movement organisation that has undergone many changes during its almost 160 years of existence and has been banned several times by the state power. However, she always cared for and supported Miroslav Tyrš`s legacy. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the offer of exercices for the age category of youngs in Sokol. Using a retrospective method, the history of Sokol over the last almost 160 years of its existence is briefly described. Based on a comparison of the ongoing number of divisions and the development of the membership base, the development from the renewal of Sokol in 1990 to the present years is evaluated, focusing on the selected age category. A questionnaire survey is chosen as the analytical method, which was sent electronically to the individual units. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, previously established hypotheses were disproved or confirmed, which were based on academic work or other available literature. It is confirmed that the membership base of student categories has been growing since the 1990s, despite slight fluctuations. The most significant growth was in the period around the "Sokol slet", in which these age categories regularly participate. The work will also highlight the importance of regular sports in children' lives and in this respect, it will point out combative activities as a key element in the development of an active lifestyle. Comparison of preparation for ice hockey matches in Czech and Russian representation under 16 years

The diploma thesis deals with pre-match preparation at a professional level for ice hockey players under 16 years of age with the Russian and Czech national teams. The aim of the work is to map and compare the pre-match phase for the Czech and Russian national teams up to 16 years old. I divided the work into several parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of ice hockey, sports performance in ice hockey, fitness training, warm-up, hockey training, hockey match, stretching and eating. The practical part specifically focuses on the Russian and Czech national teams, contains records of morning training, meals, pre-match preparation, pre-match training, roster, number of goals in the games, games results and post-match stretching. I used observation, interview and statistical methods to find out the results for the practical part.

Particular attention will be devoted to the Sokol - movement and training of large group practices in relation to younger school age children. The essence of the study will be a practical research. The aim will compare exercises from 1932 and 2012 in terms of gymnastics and education. The group used in the study are children aged 8 years. The study will lead to the solution of the research problem, whether the differences in the implementation of these two exercises give us an inside of the spirit of the age, educational access and relevance for today's children.
Position of Czechoslovak athletes during the Communist era

The aim of this thesis is to cover Czechoslovak sport during the period of Communism and to point out the biggest cases of political intervention. In the first part it concentrates on the official sport structure in Czechoslovakia and describes sport as a political phenomenon, hence the political interventions in some of the sporting events and lives of some of the athletes. The thesis will describe some of the individual stories of athletes being persecuted or used in the communist propaganda. In the final part I explain how the athletes adapted to these conditions or how some of them even tried to stand up the regime.
