The part of the helping workers in supporting a family in the development of playing of children with ASD

(in English) This bachelor thesis is about role of helping workers in supporting a family in the development of playing of children with ASD. It highlights importance of gaming for right children's development as an individual and problems which children with ASD can have with activities such as games. It also contains importance of professionality and cooperation of all of the supporting assistants in order to have complexity of the work. Practical part has two parts. First part of reseach was focused on role mapping of the helping workers, who are in contact with children with ASD. Purpose of this preresearch was to find assistants who are in the deepest contact with these types of games. There were interviews with those people in the second part of practical part. Second part is focused on detailed work with kids with autism and their families. It includes also group playing, possibilities in education and principles of right choice of it.
The Role of the Social-Legal Child Protection Authority in Kinship Foster Care

Bachelor thesis with the title "The role of the social-legal child protection authority in kinship foster care" aims to determine what is the role (or how cooperates) of the social-legal child protection authority (OSPOD) during the work with foster parents and what are its possible competence in this issue. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one defines the basic concepts of this issue, e. g. the social work and the social worker, child, foster parent, foster care and social-legal child protection. The second chapter deals with legislation, which is closely related to foster care in the Czech Republic. I also mention other laws, which are related to this issue. The core of my thesis is mainly in the third and the fourth chapter, where I try to explain what the role of social worker of the social-legal child protection authority in foster care is about. In the third chapter I introduce various forms of foster care, with particular focus on one of them - kinship foster care, including its specifications. The fourth chapter is focused on assistant role of the social-legal child protection authority and its cooperation with foster parents in foster care. The Role of Non-Profit Institution Social Worker in Attending of Foster Families

This bachelor thesis titled "The role of non-profit institution social worker in attending of foster families" describes social worker operating procedure in attending of foster families. My writing is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter I presented basic terms which concern described theme: social work, social worker, non-profit institution worker (so called empowered person), foster parent, non-profit institution etc. Next chapter deals with the matter from the legislative point of view of both Czech and a foreign legal code. Particular ways of the foster care are described in the following chapter. The core and goal of this bachelor thesis is described in the fourth chapter "Cooperation an empowered person and a foster parent" and also in the fifth chapter "Selected methods and activities of a non-profit institution worker in attending of foster families". Besides description of particular methods and activities of a non-profit institution social worker in attending of foster families, the final chapter describes a foster care performing agreement which lays the foundations for a non-profit institution social worker. The diploma thesis discusses the issue of kinship foster care, its specifics, strengths and weaknesses. It examines the views of grandparents, aunties, uncles and other relatives on their role in foster care and the children's life. The theoretical part is focused on basic topics in foster care, views on foster care and the development of children living in foster care. The practical part of the thesis is focused on semi-structured interviews with care givers which should tell us facts about their views of foster care, why children are placed in their family, practical problems and help which they need. There are also casuistries of foster care families.
Child in a Family with Cumulated Problems, situation Evaluation and Care Planning, Role and Competence of NGO

This bachelor's thesis occupies with evaluation of a child's situation in a family facing cumulated problems and also with methods and procedures of these evaluations being mostly used in Czech Republic. The evaluation process itself is described from the point of view of a non-profit association STŘEP's social field worker dealing with a specific family. The thesis describes related rules of the work with this family and consequent evaluation of obtained data for further support of the family among other involved social organizations. The thesis deals with alternative diets such as vegetarianism and veganism. It aims to highlight the advantages of these lifestyles in term of their importance to the sustainable development. The thesis explains the global definition of social work. It focuses on social work and it's potential to interfere to the protection of the environment. It deals with the relationship between social work and sustainable development and its environmental importance. It describes the concept of the ecological footprint as an indicator of the impact of individual's activities on the environment. It critically evaluates the environmental impacts of conventional farming. Children as Witnesses to Domestic Violence in the Light of Research

The aim of this work is to gain a general knowledge of the possible effects on the health and function of an individual who was a witness to domestic violence as a child. Although nowadays much attention is devoted to direct victims of a crime, children are still often ignored. A majority of society has a false presumption that the children are not affected by adult problems because they are not aware of them or they are too young to understand the situation. Many studies have confirmed that even toddlers perceive a negative environment and react to it. This thesis, based on extensive foreign research, describes a spectrum of social, psychological and health consequences caused by the aforementioned trauma which can sooner or later affect a young person. This Bachelor thesis addresses the issue of the basic human rights of Refugee Children guaranteed to every child by UN Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted in 1989. The thesis describes the processes and situations in which a Refugee Child who is accompanied by family members or who is an Unaccompanied Minor goes through during the proceeding of International Protection in the European countries. The thesis focuses only on the articles of Convention that are applicable to crucial problems in the current situation of Refugee Children.
Attitudes of the Public and Students of Helping Profession towards Homeless People

This bacherol thesis is devided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The work is focused on public attitudes towards homeless people. The theoretical part deals with the definition of homeless and homelessness, causes of homelessness, its forms. The thesis also deals with homelessness in the Czech Republic, prevention of homelessness, social work with homeless and attitudes towards the homeless. The practical part includes research in the form of questionnaire. This questionnaire was given to students of helping professions. The results of this survey are also stated. The Evaluation Process of Engagered Child in Family in the Frame of Multidisciplinary Cooperation

The aim of this work is to describe the evaluation process of endangered child in family in the frame of multidisciplinary cooperation. The evaluation process itself is described from the point of view of nonprofit organization's field worker, who works with related client's family. It describes the rules of social work with multiproblem family starting from initial introduction of the family and involved experts up to the evaluation process which makes base for further plans of the work among the family and all involved multidisciplinary organizations.
