V diplomové práci jsem se zabýval pracovní migrací Čechů do Velké Británie po rozšíření Evropské unie v roce 2004. Postupoval jsem od obecného popisu migračních teorií, prezentace a analýzy výsledků výzkumů a statistik týkajících se tohoto tématu k formulaci otázek pro mnou provedený kvalitativní výzkum. Zdrojem informací pro mě byla odborná literatura, výzkumné zprávy, statistika, rozhovory s respondenty, časopis Echo a internetové stránky určené pro Čechy a Slováky ve Velké Británii.

V poslední době patří mezinárodní migrace mezi aktuální témata, tak jak snad nikdy předtím. Většina provedených výzkumů a studií v této oblasti se zaměřuje na studium, analýzu a popis migrace do České republiky. V tomto kontextu je často připomínáno, že po roce 1989 se oproti minulosti Česká republika stala jednou z cílových zemí migrantů. V souvislosti se vstupem nových členských zemí do Evropské unie v květnu 2004 se otevřely občanům těchto zemí pracovní trhy Velké Británie, Irska a Švédska. Od května 2004 mohou občané nových členských zemí pracovat v uvedených státech bez nutnosti mít pracovní povolení. Jednalo se o zcela novou situaci, která vyvolávala a vyvolává řadu otázek, jak na straně starých, tak i nových členských zemí. Ve svém důsledku se Česká republika stala z převážně cílové země i jednou z možných zdrojových zemí. Problematika mobility pracovníků je také jedním z aktuálních témat Evropské unie. Rok 2006 byl vyhlášen rokem mobility. Z pohledu Evropské unie je zvýšení mobility pracovníků vnímáno jako jeden z možných prostředků k růstu ekonomické výkonnosti a konkurenceschopnosti. V rámci Evropské unie již řadu let působí síť EURES (Evropské služby zaměstnanosti), jejímž hlavním úkolem je přispívat k mezinárodní mobilitě pracovních sil. Moving Objects Detection in Video Sequences

This publication is dedicated to creating appliaction for motion detection in video sequence. There is summary of several possible methods to solve this matter in theoretical and practical point of view with postive and negative properties. This methods are histograms subtraction and subtraction of each pixel in the tested frame. Fundamental part of this publication is application for motion detection. There are many of tests for created detector for several type moving object included in input video sequence. Results are intimately describe.

Automatic Creation of Dictionaries from Translations

Aim of this thesis is to implement system for translation words from source language into the target language with pair input texts. There are descriptions of terms and methods used in machine translation and machine build dictionary. The thesis also contains a concept and specification of each part created system including final evaluation. There is analysed options which make extension of existing dictionatry.

Energy security of the EU

The issue of the energy security became widely discussed in the expert community and on several levels of the European policy during the recent years. The aim of this thesis is finding suitable tools of the energy policy of the EU and sketching of possible appearance of the energy mix in the next few decades. The first part describes the chosen methodology of the risk management. This is followed by the analysis of the current energy position of the EU. In the third part there are closely analyzed the particular factors of the risk, which enables a structured sight of the issue. The following chapter investigates current political struggle in energy questions on the European level. The consequences between the particular risk factors are evaluated in the last chapter using three scenarios of the possible future development. This analysis leads to prognosis of the energy mix in both the mid-term and the long-term horizon.
