Changes in management education in the Czech Republic at the turn of the century through the eyes of the school directors at that time

Thesis on topic " The changes in management education in the Czech Republic at the turn of the entury through the eyes of the school directors at that time" captures the abolition of central control of education in the Czech Republic from 1999 to 2004 and describes the transition to the new decentralized management system. This is a qualitative analysis, propped on interviews with experienced directors of elementary and secondary schools. In observed period, these executives both personally and professionally experienced the effects of legislative changes in education. During the research, narrative interviews were used, analysis was based on grounded theory. Causal conditions, the phenomenon of interference sectoral management, intervening conditions (risk of anomie, the politicization of education, expertise versus bureaucracy in education management, education and support of school principals) and their effects on the central category were researched. During the research, the central category became school autonomy, and it's range, including the dynamics of change in the observed period, were researched. Thesis on Reflection opinions of management schools in the development of the education system in the Czech Republic traces the development of Czech education from the perspective of headmasters of primary and nursery schools in Prague 8, who manages the school with legal personality. It deals with the major determinants moments - social transformation, economic reform, curriculum reform, legislative changes that affected the environment of Czech education over more than twenty years. Detailed mapping the environment through competence and responsibility, opinions, attitudes and actions insight into six areas - personal characteristics of school principals, education reform, curriculum reform, school culture and school cooperation with parents and pupils, the area professionally - personal development directors from the perspective of moral dilemmas that accompanied the work of directors for more than twenty years. Thesis reviews the development of educational systems Czech and Slovak Republic after the division of Czechoslovakia in 1993. The common historical background in educational policy is the starting point for monitoring the development of these educational systems. The work aims to map and compare the development of educational systems of Czech and Slovak Republic. Describes historical events that have influenced their present form, and the issue is mapping of several aspects. Thesis is mapping these aspects in terms shaping the structure of educational systems, management and financing of education and educational policy. Also is mapping the important legislative steps and published educational documents. The comparative part thesis equates the education systems of both countries. It aims to find the answer how far apart to move away these two educational systems over the last quarter century and is describing the defining characteristics of the current differences. This comparison is carried for a period of ten years, and as a basis of this serves studies from 2004, 2009, 2014. Comparison of education methods in education, prison and health services

The master thesis deals with further education and training in the fields of prison and health services and education. It describes which methods are required in further education and why they can contribute to more efficient planning of education in the particular areas. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of lifelong learning, analyzes the similarities and differences in the understanding of lifelong learning in strategic documents. Education forms an important part of human resources development and its efficiency depends on the choice of suitable teaching methods and on understanding learners' motivations. In theory, it surveys also training in the particular areas. The findings from the theoretical part are based on the practical part of the degree work, which forms the main point. This practical part is based on the opinions of the employees that have been identified through a questionnaire. The results provide information not only about the specifics of the education methods used in the monitored areas, but also about mutual similarities, and they get closer to the main motivating factors for education. Life Stories and Professional Careers of Women Headmasters of Vocational High Schools

Thesis with the title "Life stories and professional careers of women headmasters of vocational high schools" deals with professional life of women headmasters of vocational high schools and analyzes this professional life. Per this analysis is detected, what is the benefit of these headmasters for school and if they promote a development of the school. Narrative analysis was used on this research.Beside the research there are answered other questions, which are related to professional life and are associated with the primary research question. There are described the phases of professional life and there are stated the effects, which influence the decision making of the headmasters. In the conclusion of research the headmasters alone evaluate their actions in position of headmaster.The primary research question is answered, how it results from research, all headmasters are benefit for their school. Schools, which were guided by them, had evolved and it is them, who are the reason of its growth. Recommendations for futher research is analysis of professional men headmasters.
