Determination of cloud types from satellite radiometric measurements

The thesis is focused on analysis and possible modifications of methods and procedures allowing the determination of various cloud types using the satellite data. Today, the main methods are concentrated around two the most applied international projects, one being developed for the instrument MODIS on board American Terra and Aqua polar satellites, and the other one being developed for the instrument SEVIRI on the European geostationary satellite Meteosat. The algorithms used for automatic discrimination of several cloud types operationally are created on these models. The American program MODIS Atmosphere have been created by NASA and the European program NWC SAF have been developed by organization EUMETSAT. Content of the thesis is to specify how input parameters influence final result of cloud determination in both models, and how results are depending on the external meteorological and geographical conditions during data acquisition. The effort will be given to identification of main drawbacks at two models and to identify conditions when their respective application is limited, their results different and to make steps towards possible modifications to mitigate the drawbacks. Parental Alienation Syndrome by former users of services from the Outreach Outpatient Centre of the House of Three Wishes

The work deals with Parental Alienation Syndrome and connects it to the separation of parents or in their process of a breakup. It also deals with selected work options, specifically work with parents in the conflict and the actual work with the family in the presence of this syndrome. The theoretical part is a chapter of parents'separation and a chapter of Parental Alienation Syndrome. The practical part includes a description of the research, evaluation and conclusions. The main objective of the research is to analyze the situation of the family, giving rise to the syndrome from the perspective of the alienated parents. Parental Alienation Syndrome is a high risk for society and its occurrence or consequences are not negligible. Topicality is given to the large number of separations and divorces in our society.

The importance of Activatingseniors in Field and Outpatient Social Servicers

(Abstract) This thesis is called "The importance of activation in seniors in field and outpatient social services" includes the theoretical part as a conceptualization of the empirical part. It describes the activities and services contained in the questionnaire survey. The results of the surfy, by using the questionnaires, confirmed the hypothesis. It can now be said that seniors are using outreach social services, they are more interested in activities more than seniors are using outpatient social services - in particular it is the physical activities of women over 85 years of age. In conclusion, the greatest interest was in physical activities which support the maintenance of mobility and hence the promotion of self-sufficiency.

Diploma thesis "Behavioral symptoms in sexually abused children, families access and response of social workers" focuses on clarifying the issue of child sexual abuse and its course. The introductory chapters deal with explaining the concept of sexual abuse and the possible occurrence. It characterized by potential victims, offenders and the possible risks. The work focuses on social and psychosomatic manifestations of children who are victims of sexual abuse. It compares the responses of children by age and sex. The important part is the revelation of the incident. Revealed is the most deliverance victim of pathological behavior. The work describes the victim may have reasons for concealing situation, how it reacts family after disclosure. How the assistence of social workers in contact with victims of sexual abuse.But also what measures are needed to prevent further deprivation of the child. The main goal of this work is to answer the main research question "What is the situation of the family associated with reportinag CSA?". This question seeks the whole structure of the work. Legal framework of practice by the employees of the Social-Legal Chid Protection Authority

1 ABSTRACT The aim of the thesis is to look on the impact of legislative framework on practice through the eyes of social workers in department of child protection. The point is approach the practice of this profession and impact of legislative to it, which can affect both the client and the worker. The theoretical part of the thesis presents legislative framework, which limits practice of department of social protection. There is summarize The Constitution of the Czech Republic, the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, social and legal protection of children's law and Administrative Procedure Code. Than in this chapter are processed gestation responsibilities related to child protection. The second chapter processed discourses in social work by Karen Healy (2005). The third chapter specifies legislative framework in selected parts of child protection. These are, for example, areas of guardianship ad litem, foster care, adoption, institutional care and curator for children and youth. Construction of conflict situations by social workers employed at Authority for Social and Legal Protection of Children

The thesis is focused on the construction of conflict situations of social workers of OSPOD (Authority of Social and Legal Protection of Children). The first part explains what conflict is from the perspective of helping professions and social constructionism. This section explains the Relational Dialectics Theory (construction of meanings related to individual identity and relationships through the use of language) and the structure of discourse construction using Gee categories. The aim of this ork was to examine the construction of conflicts between clients and social workers who work at OSPOD. The results showed what is the structure of the construction of conflict situations and what kind of struggles of discourses can be called conflict.

Client's life at Special Needs Nursing Home and their activation

In my diploma thesis entitled The life of clients of the Home with Special Regime and their activation, I deal with issues related to activation programs for the elderly and their effectiveness. The use of exploratory questions using case studies of clients provides insight into their daily routines and into their leisure time that can be used for activation. The aim of this survey is to seek to expand opportunities to develop current but also future activation. The thesis also looks at the different types of therapies (art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy, etc.) that are suitable for use in a Special Needs Home. The thesis also focuses on activation workers who should be provided with motivation to work with clients. Due to the covid crisis, I was forced to focus only on the Home with Special Regime, within the CSOP of Prague 15. The practical part is devoted to a survey to determine the quality of the current activation and to focus on improving future activation programs. The results of the survey show that the clients of the Home are satisfied with the current activation, although there are some reservations from the respondents, which, thanks to the survey and the answers from the survey questions, showed that there is room to start addressing these inequalities.

Research of customer satisfaction in comunity housing services and social services

Key words mental disability, social work services, social care, transformation, basic human needs, case study, interview Abstract The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to compare the types of social residential services, to find out where and under what conditions the basic human needs of clients with mental disabilities are met. In the first chapter, it was crucial to define the concept of mental disability, how mental disability is diagnosed and what basic human needs people with mental disabilities have. It was also important to state which social services clients with mental disabilities use or can use and how is the quality of these services determined. Furthermore, the definition of the care allowance and social benefits of material need and under what conditions the client is entitled to them. In the third and last chapter of the theoretical part, it was necessary to define the concept of transformation of social services and its obstacles. In the fourth chapter it was necessary to determine the importance of the methods used for this thesis. Subsequently, a presentation of the organizations where the survey took place. This was followed by non-structured interviews with two employees of designated social services and a case report of four clients of social services.
