Accelerometer-based monitoring of steering wheel angle
Navrátil, Tadeáš ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Mihálik, Ondrej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a device which will be used for measuring the steering wheel angle. Main goal was to design basic concept of device which is using data gathered from three accelerometers in the reconstruction algorithm to get steering wheel angle. Discussion of various reconstruction algorithms (with regards to simulated output noise levels from acceleromater) and final Implementation of reconstruction algorithm (in MATLAB simulink enviroment) is also part of this thesis. Furthermore, thesis deals with the selection of suitable components. Mainly selection of accelerometers, microcontroller and the selection of a suitable communication bus for mutual communication between them. Thesis also deals with design improvements of algorithm and realization of the whole device. In the end, we compare results of measuring device and inner senzor of steering wheel.
Injection moulding machine prototype
Cikryt, Adam ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This work deals with the design of a prototype injection molding machine for the company Elzaco s.r.o. The work includes theoretical analysis which breaks down injection molding machine into individual components and describes their functionality and their important parameters. Based on the analysis and determination of critical parameters of the injection molding machine, a detailed model of the injection molding machine is created. There are also requirements for electrical components such as motors, power supplies, heaters, temperature sensors, control electronics. The method of controlling such a machine is also discussed.
Laboratory Model for Simulation of Control of Simple Technological Process
Raška, Marek ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the improvement of the physical simulator of basic dynamic systems and the selection of suitable technological process to demonstrate simulation, control and visualization in laboratory teachings with a sample laboratory task. The result is an improved simulator used in the simulating of technological process using the programming structure and visualization of ControlWeb 8 application and input/output peripheral Datalab IO/USB.
Application for the HAWK regulator
Kvasnička, Petr ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of intelligent buildings management and practical use of the control system HAWK from company Honeywell. The thesis describes the basic problem of intelligent building management, exactly why they created and how it is possible to implement building automation, including a listing of available equipment that can be used in these systems. The thesis also discusses one of the systems that can be used for building control. The control system is called HAWK and thesis describes the programming environment and connectable peripherals. For a given control system is formed in the scrubbing practical demonstration device wind tunnel, which is shown using the work of the control system.
Control of model smart house
Běloušek, Petr ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with control of smart houses. The second chapter contains acquaintance with current model of smart house, PLC and programming enviroment from B&R company. The last chapter is devoted to projecting of heating control and shade system control.
Analysis of car drivers’ behaviour and driving style
Novik, Svatoslav ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Mihálik, Ondrej (advisor)
Driving safety remains one of the important issues. Various assistance systems are also implemented, which focus mainly on the analysis of driving and control of the car by the driver. To understand the performance of the driver’s control, a program was created to obtain valuable data and relevant characteristics. To obtain the data, we used an internally designed, laboratory-made vehicle driving simulator. Driver data was measured from the motor vehicle driving simulation, and these were examined and evaluated in the MATLAB environment thanks to integral criteria and other calculated parameters. The obtained values were then used as a training set for the machine learning, using LDA and QDA methods (linear and quadratic discriminant analyzing). This method then provided information on which values are most appropriate and then determines as precisely as possible which driver may be involved in future measures, when this information is not stated in advance.
OPC UA Client for "Sorter of Boxes" Laboratory Model
Magáth, Marek ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is about OPC comunication protocol, specifically the newest specification OPC UA (Unified Architecture). By creating OPC UA client application using the OPC UA .NET libraries offered by the OPC Foundation for free. Setting up the OPC server on the S7-1500 PLC using the TIA Portal V14. Part of the work is done by modifying model Třídička beden, specifically with the modification motor control and creating more complex control task for this model. Next, by creating a control program in the Ladder Diagram, where I specifically describe some solutions of problems. And also by creating visualization on the touch panel TP700 Comfort. The visualization is created in WinCC, which is part of the TIA Portal. Finally, I describe how to link the OPC UA client created together with the touch panel and the PLC that control this model. And how to collect or observe the process data.
Innovation of "Parking" Laboratory Models
Pindel, Tomáš ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with models of a parking lot used in the BPGA course as a learning kit,its innovation, realization of a universal connection to all sorts of the PLC SIMATIC S7-1500 in the laboratory and programming of model tasks in four programming languages: LAD, STL, GRAPH and SCL. The differences in programming in each of the languages are also analysed. Further on the making of a visualisation in WinCC is described for these model tasks. The result of this bachelor thesis are two fully-functionial models that can be used for teaching students with a connection to the PLC S7-1500 and their respective documentation. Finally, the model task and its corresponding program in languages LAD, STL, GRAPH and SCL is included + the created visualisation for HMI and PC.
Control system for greenhouse
Haring, Filip ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This project deals with design and implementation of control system, which is used for regulation climate conditions in special grow box. Measured values are displayed on graphic LCD, sent to application in PC or displayed on web server. The project solves software and hardware implementation of measurement system.
Control system for infrared heater
Bis, Jan ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis describes an infrared heater, creation of control algorithm for PLC and visualization of controlling of the infrared heater using the touch panel. The Ąrst part contains a description of the laminating production line, the infrared heater and its parts. There are also the requirements for controlling of the infrared heater. Based on these requirements the second part describes the creation of the control algorithm for PLC and visualization of controlling the infrared heater using the touch panel.
