Evolution of Real Wealth of the Czech republic
Havelka, Jan ; Cahlík, Tomáš (advisor) ; Janotík, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis analyses the development of the inclusive Wealth of the Czech Republic and compares it with twenty other countries. The thesis summarizes the knowledge of categorization of capital assets, shadow prices and their impact on the productive base of a country. For an economy to follow a sustainable development it has to provide at least the same amount of productive base for future generations. The thesis assesses newly created Inclusive Wealth Index and analyses its advantages and drawbacks. Furthermore, it describes used methodology and adjusts the index with other factors that influence the inclusive Wealth of a country. Based on empirical research of data for the Czech Republic and twenty more countries for years 1990 to 2008, stable growth of the Czech Republic, caused by investing into human capital, was confirmed and the problems connected with drawing down natural capital were highlighted. However, due to incompleteness of data and usage of linear interpolation to estimate missing data, the results of the analysis need not be valid. This can be tackled by including and comparing other indicators. On the other hand, used methodology has proven to be useful and brought some beneficial conclusions and advices for the Czech Republic and other countries.

Havelka, Jan ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is about introducing to basics of image processing, mostly with linear image transformations and interpolation. For the purpose of the closer understanding is properly to implement some basic geometrical image transformations and some different interpolation methods.
Moving Objects Detection in Video Sequences
Havelka, Jan ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is the recognition and detection of moving object and persons in video sequence and in the static image. Designed application uses the combination of background model for movement detection, histograms of oriented gradients method for person recognition and Lucas-Kanade method for object tracking.
Evaluation of aplicability of Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe criteria on a long-distance hiking trail in the Czech Republic
Jiroudková, Petra ; Jarolímková, Liběna (advisor) ; Havelka, Jan (referee)
The diploma paper, Evaluation of aplicability of Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe criteria on a long-distance hiking trail in the Czech Republic, deals with the process of certification of long-distance hiking trails in accordance with the norm called Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe. The norm is based on German norms for certificating long-distance hiking trails which brought remarkable success. So far, there are no such trails in the Czech Republic. The main purpose of this thesis is to provide answers to questions concerning the aplicability of European norms on Czech hiking trails. Specifically, it will focus on the aplication of the norms on the long-distance hiking trail Stezka podel Luznice and its evaluation.
Cílem projektu je docílit snížení energetické náročnosti provozu stávajících soustav centrálního zásobování teplem (SCZT) prostřednictvím zvýšeného podílu kondenzační výroby elektrické energie (KVET) v teplárenských zdrojích a nižších ztrát v rozvodech tepla. Předmětem prací je výzkum, vývoj a testování prostředků simulace provozu SCZT za účelem optimalizace teplotních, tlakových a výkonových parametrů SCZT. Teplárenská soustava elektráren Opatovice. Teplárenská soustava elektráren Komořany. Teplárenská soustava města Plzeň.
