Altitmeter for RC aircraft models
Švec, Jan ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to design an altimeter, who uses to record the attitude of the model "RC plane" evaluation of the current atmospheric pressure. The data are saved during the flight into the memory. The data can be transferred to PC after recording through the USB . The software on PC communicates with the device and ensuring the conversion of recorded pressure to altitude RC model.
Wireless Security and Surveillance System
Výborný, Jiří ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with design and construction of a wireless security and surveillance system in ZigBee wireless networks (IEEE802.15.4). The design consists of creating a star network topology with intended monitoring of home area via end device boards paired with coordinator board, which provides basic networking functionality. End device is used to send data from a temperature sensor DS1631 and magnetic reed switches to coordinator. ZigBee module ZDM-A1281-A2 made by MeshNetics company embedded on each board contains a micro controller ATMega1281 and a transceiver AT86RF230 working in a 2,4GHz frequency band. System is able to notice of any door or window move actions and too high temperature. The non-fully functional ZigBee stack, which is called an Open MAC software, based on MAC (Media Access Control ) layer and PHY (Physical) layer from MeshNetics, has been used to develop the user software. Open MAC consists of three application samples in C code. One of them was modified by the user for an application of communication between the module and sensors. The same design with module RC2204AT made by Radiocrafts company was tested as well, but it couldn’t be executed. All developed boards have been constructed and tested via Terminal PC program.
Serial communication peripheries development in FPGA
Štraus, Pavel ; Adamec, Filip (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is about two peripheries. First periphery creates from input parallel signals one output serial signal. This serial signal contains a start bit, the next are data bits, parity bit and stop bit or two stop bits. Data bits are variables. It is mean their count is set with two input signals called Dat0 and Dat1. We can secure data bits with parity bit. Of course we have choice between even parity bit or odd parity bit. After parity bit there is one stop bit or there are two stop bits. Second periphery realizes I2C bus. This communication is between two devices. First device is called master and creates the communication with second device called slave. For communication there are two bidirectional lines. The first line is called SDA, which is a serial data line and second line is a serial clock line called SCL. Communication begins with a start condition. That means line SDA go from high to low while SCL is high and communication is terminate with a stop condition. That means line SDA go from low to high while SCL is high. The peripheries are programming in VHDL language and implemented in FPGA device. After successful simulation in free software ISE WebPACK the peripheries was realized in the development board V2MB1000 with device XC2V1000.
Helping tool for AVR microcontrollers programming in C language
Ševčík, Radek ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This article describes AVR Wizard programme that was developed for AVR Studio. This software simpliefies microcontrollers (MCUs) programming in a way of general peripheries settings and registers settings for varied MCUs. AVR Wizard is able to generate C language-based MCU main programme structure with chosen settings. User-friendly handling and no longer detailed studies of MCU datasheets are also main advantage.
PC oscilloscope – hardware part
Mego, Roman ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor`s thesis is to design and construct a device, which will be used as oscilloscope and logic analyzer. This document contains a basic list of attributes of oscilloscopes, which are used in designing. In the next part of document, block diagram is shown, which is analyzed by functional blocks to the circuit diagram. Third part of the document describes, algorithm for controlling and data capturing. The end of the document is dealing with realization of hardware and software parts.
Control of wireless ZigBee network
Fuchs, Michal ; Prokopec, Jan (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
The Master’s Thesis deals with a ZigBee technology and its devices working each other in wireless personal area network. The ZigBee and its advantages are compared with other wireless protocols working in ISM bands. A first part deals with a topology of IEEE 802.4.15 WPAN and the ZigBee features. Types and format of the ZigBee data-frame are mentioned. A Second part of this thesis describes a design and testing of the ZigBee devices. Results of this thesis are demonstrated on ZMU (ZigBee Modules Utility) program that has been developed for the testing of this technology.
Development board with 32-bit ARM-based processor
Jůn, Lukáš ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
The content of this thesis is to create a detailed description of 32-bit ARM-based processors. Reader will be inform about the each one of the family of ARM-based processor, about the options of creating applications for these CPUs. The Applications are commonly developed by using the C/C++ language. This text also deal's with the development environments. These tools are making easier the development of new applications. This thesis also contains a complete design and description of development board with Atmel AT91SAM7S64 MCU (with sample of source code included).
Prediction and analysis of traffic crossings using machine learning
Hlaváček, Jakub ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Götthans, Jakub (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the area of traffic control, specifically traffic control of intersections, especially control technologies based on the obtained traffic data. The main goal of the work is the design and subsequent implementation of a real intersection Anenská and Capt. Jaroše, Pardubice in the form of a model. The work also deals with the demonstration of the used signal programs of junction control through the created model. The model is assembled from a wooden base and smaller parts are made by 3-D printing. The unit is controlled by an Arduino microcomputer. In creating this thesis, I managed to understand the comprehensive traffic management in today’s cities, which requires the current traffic situation.
Automated garden system for outdoors
Stupka, Tomáš ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this semester work is to design and implement an automated irrigation system for use in a family house based on the Raspberry Pi platform and AVR processors with the possibility of automatic adaptation to outdoor temperature and humidity conditions. The design also includes a web interface using the NodeRED interface for manual control and monitoring of data collected from individual wireless sensor modules
