Monetary Reform 1919 in Czechoslovakia

This thesis will focused on the monetary reform in 1919 in Czechoslovakia. The first part of the thesis describes the creation of an independent Czechoslovakia republic, Austro-Hungarian crown and analysing Alois Rašín's personality so as his economical view. The main part emphasises the preparation and implementation of the monetary reform and how the targets were accomplished. As follows the study concentrates on the concept of monetary policy which pursues the monetary reform that is provided by Rašín's influence and character. After unsuccessful monetary restriction, crown was strengthen via foreign currency exchange and this led to reach Alois Rašín's monetary concept of deflation policy. Not only the study looks into the monetary reform itself but also analyses monetary policy associated with gaining of independency and appreciation of Czechoslovakian currency. The conclusion sums up the monetary reform and shows that the reform itself as the tool of deflation policy didn't succeed and thus the appreciation of the currency through foreign currency had positive but also negative impact on the whole economy.

Monetary reform 1953 in Czechoslovakia

Bachelor thesis deals with the monetary reform in Czechoslovakia in 1953. Aim of this thesis is to analyze the monetary reform and the answer to the question whether the reform has been implemented successfully and achieved all its objectives. The thesis is divided into three thematic chapters. The first part focuses on the economic and social development of Czechoslovakia before the monetary reform, that summarizes the situation of Czechoslovakia after World War II., the Communists revolution and, last but not least, is describing the transformation of the Czechoslovakian economy. The second chapter of the thesis is dedicated to the monetary reform and its causes, process and principles. Among others, here are explained preparations and secrecy of the monetary reform. The last part of the bachelor thesis focuses on the economic, social and political and also international consequences of the monetary reform.

Development of the national company Motorlet in 1968 - 1978

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the history and development of the national company Motorlet (now GE Aviation Ltd.) from 1968 to 1978. The dissertation is divided into five chapters. The first chapter describes the centrally planned economy and its functioning. In the second chapter there are described the changes after 1968 and the economic development of Czechoslovakia in the seventies. The third chapter deals with establishing of the company Walter and its development in the sixties of the twentieth century. The fourth chapter describes the activity of the company between the years 1969-1974 and the implementation of the state plan. Continued by last chapter, which follows efforts in achieving the plan in 1975-1978 with different assumptions. The work uses an analysis of company archival materials. The parts describing general development are coming from the literature of Czech provencience.

Economic and political context of withdrawal Czechoslovak border in 1938

Bachelor's thesis analyses the economic problems and consequences that have arisen in the context of the political situation and withdrawal the border areas of Czechoslovakia in 1938 and identifies their implications for the rest of the Republic. The theoretical part describes the political events accompanying the issues studied and economic situation before the origin of the Second Republic. The practical part analyzes the problems related to migration, focusing particularly on unemployment, which rose only in the first few months after the resignation of the border region. Furthermore the practical part deals with issues of loss of territory, which greatly influenced the Czechoslovak economy, caused its dependence on Germany and ultimately was one of the causes of extinction of the Second Republic.

Process of „aryanization" in the region of Kolín

This diploma thesis deals with process of "aryanization" in the time of the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia and it emphasizes the region of Kolín. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first one covers the mechanism of "aryanization", it describes by whom was it executed and who was the proffitent. The second analytical part deals with the "aryanization" in the Kolín's region which is characterised by the means of archive sources (State district archive in Prague, State District Archive in Plzeň, Security Services Archive in Prague, The National Archive in Prague). It describes life strory of the jewish family Morawetz and their "aryanizated" manor farm estate in Světlá nad Sázavou and Golčův Jeníkov. The study is completed with personal profile of the two officers, imposed administrator Werner Würfel and regional council president Wilhelm Hübner.

Economy of the football club Bohemians 1905

The goal of my Bachelor Thesis is a financial analysis and evaluation of the economic situation of the sports club Bohemians 1905. The club has been an important part of the national football scene for decades. The thesis is divided into an introduction, theoretical and methodological part, practical part and a conclusion, these are followed by references and appendices. The introduction chapter is focused on presenting the topic, explanation of the relationship of the topic to sports and the reasons for choosing this topic. In this chapter the goals of the thesis are defined. In the theoretical and methodological chapter, the basic concepts in the economics of a sports club and methodology of financial and economic analysis are explained. The practical part includes the characterization of the company, the financial and economical analysis and comparison with selected results of other sports clubs. In the conclusion, the results of the thesis are summarized, the goals set out in the introduction are evaluated and there is an overview of the current situation of the club.

In this bachelor thesis is presented delivery condition and its impact on price assessment. This topic is backed up theory of international purchase agreement a delivery condition in general. Further is the content of final thesis devoted to characteristic of latest edition of International Commercial Terms 2010 and its comparison with previous version. The last part is focused on practical application of several delivery conditions in business contracts of concrete company. There was realized an analysis of purchase agreement and price calculation and its impact on price assessment were ilustrated as well.

Economic Development of Slovakia, 1993-2006

Táto práca sa zaoberá analýzou hospodárskeho vývoja Slovenska v období rokov 1993 ? 2006. Snahou je charakterizovať a analyzovať jednotlivé etapy vývoja slovenského hospodárstva v závislosti na politickej moci od vzniku samostatného štátu až po jeho súčasnosť. Práve toto vzájomné prepojenie politiky a ekonomiky veľmi výrazne ovplyvnilo ďalší vývoj a smerovanie krajiny a preto cieľom práce nie charakterizovať vývoj čisto len z hľadiska ekonomického, ale skôr z hľadiska politicko-ekonomického. Zachycuje podrobný chronologický vývoj od rozpadu federácie, cez vznik samostatného štátu a 90.roky, až do súčasnosti. Mapuje jednotlivé vlády a ich vývoj v oblasti tvorby hospodárskej politiky, poukazuje na špecifiká a podmienky jednotlivých období. Práca sa nesnaží poskytovať odborné rady v oblasti hospodárskej politiky a analyzovať účinky prípadných alternatívnych opatrení, ale naopak snaží sa objasniť pravidlá a obmedzenia, v ktorých politickí činitelia jednajú.
