Image quality analysis using Fourier transform
Tkadlecová, Markéta ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Hoderová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with two-dimensional Fourier transform and its use in digital image quality assessment. An algorithm based on amplitude spectra is introduced and tested on different sets of images. Its possible use and disadvantages are described. For understanding the basics of the algorithm the fundamental mathematical theory is included. Mainly the properties of amplitude spectra are explained. Next, the theory of digital images and their characteristics, which can affect their quality, is described. For testing the quality of the image the demonstrative program has been developed.
Multispectral Analyse of Image Data
Novotný, Jan ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Martišek, Dalibor (advisor)
The airborne hyperspectral remote sensing is used as an approach to monitor actual state of environmental components. This thesis covers priority treatment to analyse of hyperspectral data with the aim of a tree crowns delineation. Specific algorithm applying adaptive equalization and the Voronoi diagrams is designed to subdivide a forest area into individual trees. A computer program executes the algorithm and allows testing it on real data, checking and analyzing the results.
Detection of image rotation and scaling differences using phase correlation
Meduňa, Tomáš ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Hoderová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with detection of rotation and scaling differences between two similar images by using phase correlation. Necessary mathematical basis such as Fourier transform and its properties is described and demonstrated on examples. Obtained algorithm was used to create an illustrative application.
Multivalued logic systems for technical applications
Object tracking in high-speed camera images
Myška, Michal ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Štarha, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis is dealing with object tracking in high-speed camera images, within what we are trying to find their trajectory and orientation. The mathematical theory associated with this problem as well as the methods used fo image processing are described here. The main outcome is an application with a user interface through which we can calculate the desired parameters of the individual objects.
Automatic Generation of Scanning Positions for Sheet Metal Parts Digitization
Koutecký, Tomáš ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Matula, Pavel (referee) ; Morovič,, Ladislav (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of a new methodology for automatic generation of scanning positions based on a computer model of the part for digitization of sheet metal parts. Manufacture and related inspection of sheet metal parts are closely connected to automotive industry. Based on increasing general requirements on accuracy, there is also a requirement for accurate inspection of manufactured parts in serial-line production. Optical 3D scanners and industrial robots are used more often for that purpose. Measuring positions for accurate and fast digitization of a part need to be prepared as the manufacturing of the new part begins. Planning of such positions is done manually by positioning of the industrial robot and saving the positions. The planning of positions proposed by this methodology is done automatically. A methodology of positions planning, their simulation for true visibility of the part elements using reflectance model and a simulation of the positions for robot reachability is presented in this thesis. The entire methodology is implemented as a plug-in for the Rhinoceros software. High reduction of time in positions planning compared to the manual approach was observed in the performed experiments.
Gaussian filters with rotating kernel
Vintr, Tomáš ; Martišek, Dalibor (referee) ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is to create Gaussian 1D filters with rotating kernel theory which enables to program algorithm for noise reduction and beam structure highlighting in a digital picture of the solar corona.
Representations and transformations of color spaces via quaternions
Tichý, Radek ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Hrdina, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with quaternions for edge detection, particularly on image processing represented in various color spaces. First, the key concepts and the quaternion algebra properties are mentioned, then some of the commonly used color spaces are described and afterwards the thesis dedicates to the basic filters for edge detection in grayscale image. After that there are presented the color filters that use quaternions for color edge detection in RGB color space. Towards the end, these filters are used for color edge detection in HSV color space.
Adaptive Filters for 2-D and 3-D Digital Images Processing
Digital camera noise analysis
Weszter, Juraj ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Štarha, Pavel (advisor)
In pictures taken with digital cameras, undesirable noise in the form of pixel-to-pixel image intensity variance is present. This thesis, after an introduction to digital image processing, describes the main sources of such noise and subsequently analyses image data recovered from selected camera devices via stochastic methods. Ultimately, a C# software implementing the portrayed methods is briefly presented.
