Micromobility in Brno
Honl, Tomáš ; Šebela, Kamil (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
The focus of the bachelor thesis is passenger transport and the related micromobility. Especially in large cities it is possible to use the so-called Shared Transport, i.e. one where a means of transport is rented only for the time needed for transport, after which it is immediately available to other users. Therefore, the first part will be devoted to the introduction of the different means, both conventional and shared. In parallel, some of the advantages and pitfalls of the different transport methods will also be outlined. In the second part, representatives of each category will be put to the test on predetermined routes to see if and how their use can be beneficial. The comparisons will include price and speed of transport. The result will then be an evaluation of each means of transport.
Communication Buses in Automotive
Kohout, Robin ; Šebela, Kamil (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of data buses used in the automotive industry in terms of suitability of use and cost. After an introductory section that presents the history and technical parameters of data buses, a description of CAN, LIN, MOST, FlexRay and Ethernet buses follows, which includes basic information, communication mode, connection method, transmission flow and application of the data bus. The final part of the thesis includes a table that allows the reader to get a quick overview of the characteristics of each bus and provides useful information for the correct selection of the bus depending on the specific needs and requirements of the application.
Trolley for Acupack Charging
Silvester, Róbert ; Šebela, Kamil (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis devours around the construction and realisation of a small trolley, which purpose is transportation and charging of lithium battery for the team TU Brno racing. In the beginning of this thesis, we take a look at guidelines which contain criteria for the trolley’s design. Then we look at the previous solutions of the trolley. Next is description of elaborated concepts of trolley. Consequently, there is a description of making the final design of trolley taken from the perspective of individual sections. The last phase is about the assuring calculations of the critical parts of trolley.
Power valve for Two Stroke Engine
Hanuš, Michal ; Tobiáš, Martin (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
Masters thesis focused on possible design aspects for electronically controlled two-stroke exhaust valve.
Racecar Dash
Listoň, Martin ; Šebela, Kamil (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is displays for racing cars. It includes a summary and brief comparison of the different types of displays as well as the current range of panels available from commercial brands. The following part of the thesis is devoted to the implementation of the creation of a custom display panel, which consists of primary scanning, testing and subsequent laboratory simulation, as well as the creation of the PCB design for the display interface from the vehicle's CAN bus, the compilation of the final code in the Arduino IDE software environment, the creation of the GUI (Graphical User Interface) in the Nextion Editor program, and also the structural design of the instrument panel including printing and assembly. The final part of the thesis is the verification of the functionality of the created complex device and the evaluation of the results. The main goal of the thesis is to create a functional complex device that is more affordable than the currently offered devices on the market.
Two Stroke Engine Indirect Fuel Injection
Kovář, Michal ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with indirect fuel injection on new two-stroke engine for motocross sidecar. The purpose of this work was to design the fuel injection system together with length of the fuel injection times. To determine the fuel injection times, it was necessary to determine the complete exhaust system that affect the volumetric efficiency. The conclusions were based on research in the field of two-stroke engines and calculations determining the amount of fuel per one cycle. The injection method together with the location of the fuel injector and type of fuel injector that can be use were determined and then the injection times that can be entered in the ECU.
Over-expanded internal-combustion engines
Novotný, Pavel ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
At the beginning there is a short history of over-expanded engines. Subsequently, the thermodynamics of ideal over-expanded cycles are analysed and compared with the ideal Otto cycle. The thesis also deals with some design solutions for achieving over-expansion in an internal combustion engine. In the thesis there are also selected over-expanded engines from leading world carmakers. At the end the thesis deals with systems with variable compression ratio.
Application of Acoustic Camera in Automotive Industry
Zicha, Marek ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis “Application of Acoustic Camera in Automotive Industry” is focused on description of parts of the camera, algorithms for signal evaluation and the range of appli-cations in the automotive industry. They are also important acoustic quantities discussed and they are given sound fields in which the measurement is carried out.
Noise Reduction Methods in Automotive Design
Kubica, Petr ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is create a research study about noise reduction methods in automotive design. The introduction of this work deals with acoustic and the influence of noise on people. Furthermore it deals with ways of noise creation in a car and its suppression. In the end of this work there is a valorization of certain methods at noise suppression of a personal vehicle.
Race car diferentials
Kimlová, Anna ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the most common differential design solutions. The first part examines the reasons for mounting of differentials. The second part is a summary of the most commonly used differentials. The last part is dedicated to differentials used in sports and race cars, i.e. active and self-locking differentials.
