Mobile Application for Scanning Nonograms and Solving It
Zobaník, Michal ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create mobile application for scanning nonograms from newspapers or magazines and allows its solving. The thesis describes the design of the application, its functionality and important parts of implementation. Image processing methods are used for detection of the nonogram. Number recognition is realized by created and trained convolutional network. Scanned nonograms are solved by using several logical rules and backtracking.
Detection of Material Surface Damage Based on a Photograph
Marek, Radek ; Sakin, Martin (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
This work focuses on the use of various types of neural networks for detecting surface damage of materials from photographs and evaluates their effectiveness. Identifying different types of damage, such as cracks, scratches, and other defects, is essential for assessing the condition of materials and may indicate the need for further maintenance or repairs. The use of advanced neural networks allows for more precise detection and classification of damage, which is crucial for applications in areas such as construction, the automotive industry, and aerospace engineering, where rapid and reliable diagnostics of material defects are critical. Integrating these technologies into regular inspection processes can significantly improve accident prevention and extend the lifespan of structural components. The work also discusses the possibilities for improvement and adaptation of algorithms to specific materials and types of damage. Thus, this work demonstrates how advanced machine learning technologies can significantly contribute to more effective and reliable material condition monitoring, opening paths for future innovations in maintenance and safety.
Detection of Material Surface Damage Based on a Photograph
Valko, Marek ; Malaník, Petr (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the detection of surface defects from photograph using computer vision techniques, convolutional neural networks and models for object detection such as Faster R-CNN and YOLO. Different methods of surface damage detection, image processing, neural networks and machine learning are described in detail. The thesis also compares the performance of these models in identification of surface defects on wood and steel using different augmentations of these datasets.
Animal Identification Based on Biometric Information
Reconstruction of Damaged Parts of Fingerprint Image Using Neural Nets
Bobocký, Boris ; Dyk, Tomáš (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
In this paper, I propose a method for reconstructing damaged fingerprints using generative adversarial networks (GANs), implemented with Python and the PyThorch library. I have trained a specific GAN model on a dataset of approximately twenty thousand prints, created with Anguli and other damage simulation tools. This approach produced excellent results and could have wide application in biometric systems. This work highlights the potential of deep learning in the fields of image reconstruction and biometrics.
E-commerce Design
Kolář, Michal ; Dyk, Tomáš (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with a creation of design and implementation of e-commerce for the newly formed company, focused primarily on Apple devices service. The work focuses on the analysis of the company, requirements and implementation of e-commerce with innovatice elements.
Implementation of the information system
Chovaneček, Přemysl ; Dyk, Tomáš (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis describes the design and implementation of an information system for a small business company. The thesis includes strategic analyzes of the company and an assessment of the current situation associated with the Covid-19 pandemic. Subsequently, the thesis describes the process of specification and analysis of the requirements of the client, the design and implementation of the system corresponding to the proposals. Finally, the thesis provides the evaluation and expected benefits of the information system.
Button Search in Forms
Dyk, Tomáš ; Šolony, Marek (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes a system for automatic detection of buttons from a screen photo. The system is used together with a robotic arm and a camera to detect buttons on the screens of embedded devices. After detecting buttons on the screen, the algorithm commands the robotic arm to click on the position of the detected button. The algorithm creates a navigation map in which all screens of the device are visible by systematically clicking through all buttons on all screens. For each screen, the positions of the detected buttons and the destination to which the screen points are stored.
Mobile Application for Scanning Hitori from Newspapers and Finishing It
Burešová, Monika ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with development of mobile application with elements of computer vision and artificial intelligence, which is designed for Android operating system. The application is used for scanning Hitori from photo and then finishing it  on a mobile device. Moreover, this application provides hint, undo or shows a violation of rules of the game. The OpenCV library is used for image processing, Tesseract library is used for digits recognition. Scanned games are stored in a database, which is implemented using Room library. Hitori solution is found by combination of backtracking algorithm and known techniques for solving this game. The final application is available on Google Play and is named Hitori Scan & Play.
Mobile Game for Practicing English Vocabulary
