Computer support for data distribution design - design laboratory
Benešová, Lucie ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with data wiring infractructure. In the theoretical part the basic technology of the LAN networks is described as well as its parts, such as HUB and switch. Various types of transfer paths used in data wiring are briefly mentioned. They included coaxial cable, which were then replaced by shielded twisted pair and in future the fibre optics cables will be used instead. The shielded twisted pair operates on structured cabelling, which is guided by central principles in designing, which then can guarantee 15 years of good service. The most used cables 5e and 6 are described. The next chapter describes the endings of cables and connectors as well as the principles of patch pannels and patch cables. The following parts focus on the fibre optics networks, because they are the networks of the future. The types of fibre optics cables are described together with networks standards, the minimal fibre radius and innovations such as WDM or micropipes. There is also a resume of the ČSN norms, which are important for this thesis, concerning issues of the ways how to lay cables, placing of the communications etc. In the practical part, the various softwares for designing data wiring infractructure are studied and compared. As the most convinient for student proposals the AutoCAD Electrical 2011 has been chosen. This design software is studied from the point of view of its user interface and basic rules of behaviour. The functions of the menus and pripary settings are described. In the last part of the thesis the lesson is provided. The lesson should give students basic information and opportunity to design a basic data wiring infrastructure for a building.

Soejonová, Eliška ; Plevová, Kristýna (advisor) ; Benešová, Lucie (referee)
OF BACHELOR THESIS Name, surname: Eliška Soejonová Supervisor: Ing. Kristýna Plevová Title of bachelor's thesis: The use of passive correctors for the treatment of hallux valgus in combination with individual physiotherapy The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of hallux valgus deformity. This static deformity of the foreleg affects almost a third of the world's population and is one of the most common causes of foot pain. The deformity disrupts the kinesiology of the foot, increases the risk of falls and generally reduces the quality of life. Treatment using methods of physical therapy mainly includes active exercise and facilitation of the muscles of the foot. Hallux valgus deformity can also be treated with passive correctors. Objectives: The main objective of the bachelor thesis is the treatment of hallux valgus deformity using a combination of passive correctors and individual physiotherapy. A partial goal is to improve the values of the measured parameters - that is, to reduce pain, increase the activity of the intrinsic muscles and reduce the size of the hallux valgus angle. Methods: As part of the practical part, 3 patients with symptomatic hallux valgus deformity were selected according to the criteria and underwent a 30-day physiotherapy intervention. This consisted of 6 individual...

Optimization of proces for detection of free tumor DNA in plasma and its clinical utility for colorectal cancer, lung cancer and pancreatic cancer patients
Belšánová, Barbora ; Benešová, Lucie (advisor) ; Tachezy, Ruth (referee)
In current days, examination of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) finds new use across different cancers. It is directed at tumor-derived short fragments of DNA present in peripheral blood of patiens (mainly in advanced stages). Due to its minimal invasivity, almost 100 % specificity and relatively high sensitivity in stage IV patients, this approch found its main potential clinical utility especially in early detection of disease relapse or progression after tumor resection (i.e. post-operative follow-up), prediction and monitoring of therapy response and estimation of prognosis. As a result of minute levels of ctDNA on a high background of other non-tumor DNA fragments present in plasma, a suitable method exhibiting highest sensitivity is the key for proper detection of this marker. The approach is predominantly based on initial identification of a mutation in tumor tissue and its subsequent detection in plasma. The present work is aimed at optimization of ctDNA isolation and method of its detection based on PCR amplification followed by heteroduplex analysis by denaturing capillary electrophoresis (DCE) to achieve highest sensitivity for detection of mutated fraction in plasma sample. I have applied the optimized protocol to examine ctDNA in three types of cancers, namely colorectal cancer (122...
