Existuje něco takového jako specifické hodnoty fotografie, které vycházejí ze samotné podstaty tohoto média? A pokud ano, mohou se tyto hodnoty uplatnit i v dnešním uměleckém světě nebo se jich fotografie, aby obhájila své pozice v tomto proměnlivém a konkurenčním prostředí, musí vzdát a hledat a pracovat s jinými, které nevycházejí z její podstaty? Je vůbec perspektivní v dnešní době hledat něco tak archaického jako ontologii jednotlivých médií? Možná ano. Is there anything like specific values of photography which come from its basic substance of this medium? If yes, can be these values applied in today´s world of art or must photography give them up to defend its own position in this changable and competitive milieu and must photography look for other values and work with such of those which do not come from its substance? And is it even perspective to look for something archaic as ontology of particuliar media? Maybe yes.
