Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá především systémem finanční pomoci poskytované studentům vysokých škol v USA. Na základě provedené analýzy předkládá hlavní pozitiva tohoto systému, kterými by se Česká republika mohla inspirovat během připravované reformy terciárního vzdělávání u nás. Zároveň také upozorňuje na nedostatky amerického systému, ze kterých by se Česká republika mohla poučit. Zaměřuje se především na otázku rovného přístupu k vysokému vzdělávání a prezentuje nástroje a mechanismy, za jejichž pomocí se snaží tento přístup zajistit Spojené státy americké. This bachelor thesis focuses on the system of student financial aid in the USA. The analysis of this work presents the main positives of this system, which could be inspiring for a reform of higher education in The Czech Republic. At the same time, it points out some deficiencies of the American system, which could serve as a lesson for The Czech Republic. This paper also discusses the question of equality in access to higher education and presents important tools and mechanisms through which the US tries to achieve this equality.
