Přímé zahraniční investice jsou velmi důležité pro všechny moderní ekonomiky a pomáhají se světové ekonomice rozvíjet. Každá země, která se pokouší svůj potenciál a dosáhnout hospodářského růstu, musí se snažit přilákat investice do domácí ekonomiky a samozřejmě investovat do jiných zemí, a tím pádem dosáhnout většího zisku. Největší příjemce a poskytovatele PZI jsou USA, země západní Evropy, Čína a Japonsko v Asii. Moje práce se zaměřuje na Ruskou Federaci jako příjemce a také jako poskytovatele zahraničních investic. Přestože ruská ekonomika je jednou z největších, investice do této země nemají tak velký vliv jako v rozvinutých tržních ekonomikách. V mé práce se snažím udělat přehled ruské ekonomiky a historie, analyzovat toky FDI do Ruska a toky PZI z Ruska, investiční projekty, které se v Rusku konají, investiční politiku a investiční potenciál ruských regionů. Foreign direct investments are very vital for all modern economies, making the world economy move and develop. Every country, that is trying to increase its potential and achieve economic growth, must make an important effort to attract inward investments and of course invest in other countries, archiving even more profit. Greatest receivers and supplier of FDI are USA, Western European countries, China and Japan in Asia. My final thesis is focusing on the Russian Federation as a receiver and also as an investor. Even though Russia`s economy is one of the biggest, investments to this country are not too crucial as in developed market economies. In my thesis I am making an overview of Russian economy and history, finishing with the analysis of inward and outward streams of FDI in Russia, policies of investment projects in Russia, investment potential of Russian regions.
