Hlavním cílem této práce je analyzovat historický vývoj amerického zdravotního systému v hospodářsko-politickém kontextu, s důrazem na ovlivnění politického procesu zájmovými skupinami. Dále se pokusím nalézt příčiny, které pravděpodobně způsobily enormní nárůst nákladů na zdravotnictví během 20. století. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the history of evolution of American health care system with respect to influence of interest groups. Further, I will try to find reasons, why American health care costs grew enormously during 20th century.
