Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám veřejnou dopravou v Praze. Na úvod všeobecně charakterizuji veřejnou dopravu a zmiňuji nejdůležitější mezníky vývoje městské hromadné dopravy v Praze. Dále zmiňuji možné druhy dopravy a uvádím seznam všech dopravců operujících v Praze. Praktická část práce začíná popisem metodologie a pokračuje samotnou analýzou. Data o pražské hromadné dopravě jsou seřazeny do časové řady, která začíná rokem 2001 a končí rokem 2009. Porovnávám také údaje o Praze s jinými českými (Brno a Ostrava) nebo evropskými městy (Paříž, Moskva, Londýn). V neposlední řadě se věnuji aktuálním tématům, která se v souvislosti s hromadnou dopravou v Praze objevují. In my bachelor thesis, I deal with public transportation in Prague. I open with characterizing public transportation as a whole and I mention the most important milestones in it's evolution. Later on, I mention the possible sorts of transportation and I specify a list of all the carriers operating in Prague. The practical part of my work begins with characteristic of methodology and continues with analysis itself. The data about Prague public transportation are put to a time line that begins with the year 2001 and ends with the year 2009. I also compare the figures about Prague with other Czech cities (Brno and Ostrava) or European cities (Paris, Moscow, London). Last, but not least, I address the current topics that appear in connection to Prague public transportation.
