Základním cílem této diplomové práce je stručně charakterizovat vznik světové hospodářské krize včetně jejího přenosu do automobilového průmyslu a podrobně analyzovat dopady, které vyvolala v jednotlivých centrech (USA, Evropa a Asie) se zaměřením na USA, protože právě v kolébce automobilového průmyslu způsobila největší škody a nejvýraznější změny. Další náplní práce je snaha poskytnout odpovědi na otázky, do jaké míry byly krizí jednotlivé světové automobilky zasaženy (včetně stručné charakteristiky důsledků pro největší českou automobilku) a jakými způsoby se s ní dokázaly i díky vládním opatřením jednotlivých států či Evropské unie jako celku vypořádat. Práce také obsahuje syntetickou kapitolu za účelem shrnutí a celkového srovnání důsledků krize pro jednotlivá centra automobilového průmyslu s uvedením nejdůležitějších skutečností týkajících se nejen proběhlých změn, ale i pravděpodobného budoucího vývoje. The main aim of this Master's thesis is to briefly describe the causes of the global economic crisis (including the ways it spread to the automotive industry) and to analyze its impacts in each center (USA, Europe and Asia) focusing on the USA, because it was just the cradle of the automotive industry, which suffered the greatest damages. This thesis also tries to provide the answers to the questions, to which extent each car maker had to deal with the problems (including the short description of the impacts on the largest Czech car maker) and how they managed to handle the crisis also partially thanks to the government measures of different countries or the EU as the whole. The Master's thesis further includes the final chapter summarizing and comparing the impacts on each center of the automotive industry with pointing out the most important facts regarding not only the performed changes, but also the probable future development.
