Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá pojetím banky, její funkcí, legislativní úpravou, dohledem a regulací na bankovním trhu. Teoretické poznatky jsou využity v praktické části, kde je uveden stručný popis a základní charakteristiky hlavních bank na českém trhu. Východiskem této práce je tržně ekonomická analýza současného bankovního trhu v České republice. This bachelor work deals with the concept of the bank, its functions, legislation, regulation and supervision in the banking market. The theoretical knowledge is used in the practical part, where a brief depiction is followed by basic characteristics of the major banks in the Czech market. The starting point of this work is a market-economic analysis of the current banking market in the Czech Republic.
