Práce pojednává o vývoji turistického značení na území České republiky. Zaměřuje se obecně na turistické značené cesty, na jejich označování, zakreslování do map i na literaturu týkající se této problematiky a představuje tak ucelený přehled historického vývoje dané oblasti. Zároveň se snaží vyzkoumat návaznost současných značených cest na staré stezky. Praktická část aplikuje výsledky předešlého zkoumání na konkrétní místo - nejstarší dochovanou značenou cestu na území České republiky, Cestu Vojty Náprstka nacházející se jihozápadně od Prahy. This bachelor thesis deals with the development of tourist signs in the Czech republic. It focuses on tourist marked routes and trails in general, their marking, mapping and also it focuses on literature concerning these questions, so it presents a comprehensive summary of the historical development of this sphere. Also it tries to find out connections of current tourist routes and trails with the ancient ones. The practical part apply the previous findings to the particular trail - the oldest extant marked trail in the Czech republic, the Trail of Vojta Náprstek situated southwest of Prague.
