V teoretické části se práce zabývá Montessori pedagogikou, jejími principy, rolí učitele a osobností Marie Montessori, zakladatelky studovaného vzdělávacího systému. Dále se zaměřuje na rozvoj řečových a jazykových dovedností na počátku školního vzdělávání a na charakteristické aspekty Montessori pedagogiky v této oblasti. Teoretická část pokračuje oblastí o jazyce a řeči jako takové a dále kapitolami o ontogenezi a vadách řeči. V empirické části práce identifikuje specifika montessori přístupu a jeho potenciál při rozvoji řečových a jazykových dovedností jednak obecně, jednak u dětí, které potřebují dopomoc učitele. Práce je založena na kvalitativním přístupu. Výzkumná data byla získána prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s experty a informovanými osobami. Data byla následně přepsána, analyzována a porovnávána s dostupnou literaturou. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with Montessori pedagogy, its principles, the role of teacher and personality of Marie Montessory, the founder of the education system studied in this thesis. It also focuses on development of speech and language skills at the beginning of school education and characteristic aspects of Montessori pedagogy in those areas. The theoretical part continues with topics on language and speech as such and ends with chapters about ontogenesis and speech defects. In the empirical part, the thesis identifies specifics of the approach of montessori system and its potential in development of speech and language in common and for those who need help from a teacher. The thesis has a qualitative approach. Data for it were acquired via semistructured interviews with experts and informed people. The collected data were then rewritten, analysed and compared to available literature.
