Práce pokrývá téma sportovního komentáře Formule 1 v českém a slovenském jazyce. Jejím cílem je nalézt charakteristické prvky v komentáři tohoto sportu a porovnat základní rozdíly se sporty českého mainstreamu (fotbal, hokej). Pro účely práce je vybrána obsahová analýza, která klade důraz na slovní zásobu užitou v komentáři s přihlédnutím k rozdílu mezi slovní zásobou specifickou pro motorsport a Formuli 1 a běžným slovníkem sportovního komentátora. Analyzováno bylo celkem osm velkých cen z let 2021 až 2024, při jejich výběru bylo zohledněno několik faktorů včetně postavení závodu v kalendáři a jeho atraktivita z obou stran spektra, tj. byly vybrány závody s vysokou i nízkou atraktivitou. Definice specifik a odlišností slovní zásoby komentáře Formule 1 je hlavním cílem práce. Text zároveň představuje hlavní odlišnosti sportovní žurnalistiky s dalšími odvětvími novinářské práce spolu s nastíněním definice sportovního komentáře a jeho problematiky v akademické rovině. Výsledkem práce je zjištění přesností i chyb v rámci užívání pojmů z Formule 1 a prezentování intenzity užití slov v komentáři. V porovnání se sporty českého mainstreamu, práce nalezla klíčový rozdíl v pozici experta a také v technické náročnosti Formule 1, v důsledku čehož dochází ke zvýšení počtu pojmů a práce komentátorů je tím... The thesis covers the topic of sports commentary of Formula 1in Czech and Slovak language. Its goal is to find characteristics of commentary of this sport and compare fundamental differences from sports of the Czech mainstream (football, ice hockey). There is language analysis used for the purpose of the thesis with accent on vocabulary and its usage in the commentary with regard on the difference between vocabulary specific for motorsport and Formula 1 and common vocabulary used by the commentator. The analysis contains eight grand prix from 2021 to 2024. In selecting these races, attractiveness from both perspectives was taken into account, specifically both really attractive and less attractive races were chosen. The definition of specifics and contrasts of the Formula 1 commentary vocabulary is the main goal of the thesis. The text introduces main distinctions between sports journalism and other parts of journalism in combination with an outline of the definition of sports commentary and its problematic in academic world. The results of the thesis are finding out the accuracy and mistakes in usage of words from the Formula 1 vocabulary and a presentation of the intensity of words used in the commentary.
