Bezdomovectví je rozsáhlý jev, ve většinové společnosti však může docházet k jeho stigmatizaci. Mezi lidmi bez domova jsou ale i osoby, které chtějí žít důstojný život. Kvůli své těžké životní situaci však nenachází pracovní příležitosti. Nezisková organizace Nový Prostor takovým lidem pomáhá získat finanční prostředky skrz prodej stejnojmenného časopisu a přes sociální rehabilitaci jim pomáhá s jejich životní situací. Televizní dokument s názvem Nový Prostor, nová šance, když se časopis stává mostem do společnosti přibližuje příběh prodejce Michala, který se i přes vysokoškolské vzdělání a funkci náměstka hejtmana v Olomouckém kraji dostal na ulici a bourá tak předsudky o bezdomovcích. Dokument nabízí vhled do myšlenek Michala, který vzpomíná na to, jak se dostal na ulici a hodnotí Nový Prostor, jako nástroj k lepší budoucnosti. Homelessness is a widespread phenomenon, but it can be stigmatised in mainstream society. However, among the homeless there are also people who want to live a decent life. But due to their difficult living situation they cannot find employment opportunities. The non-profit organisation Nový Prostor helps such people to raise funds through the sale of a magazine of the same name and helps them with their living situation through social rehabilitation. The television documentary called Nový Prostor, new chance when a magazine becomes a bridge to society tells the story of Michal, a vendor who, despite his university education and his position as deputy governor in the Olomouc region, has found himself on the streets and is breaking down prejudices about the homeless. The documentary offers an insight into the thoughts of Michal, who recalls how he got on the street and evaluates Nový Prostor as a tool for a better future.
