V reakci na tlak Evropské unie na snížení emisí se zvyšují požadavky na výrobce automobilů, čímž se otevírá cesta k přechodu od tradičních spalovacích motorů k elektrickým pohonům s energií uloženou v bateriových akumulátorech. Samotná baterie je složena z modulů, ve kterých jsou uloženy bateriové články. Pro správné výstupní hodnoty napětí je zapotřebí bateriové moduly a články v nich zapojit, kdy nejvhodnější je paralelní zapojení článků se sériovým zapojení modulů. Nejčastěji využívané články jsou cylindrické a články prismatického provedení, které se dále dělí na prismatické články a sáčky. Cylindrická provedení jsou vhodná pro aplikace, kde vyžadujeme maximální výkonost, zatímco prismatická provedení jsou lepší v oblasti energetické účinnosti. Pro udržení baterií v úzkém teplotním okně je velice důležitý tepelný management. Využívá se přednostně kapalinové chlazení, které má řádově vyšší účinnost. Tato práce se zaměřuje na rozbor těchto technologií a jejich vliv na efektivitu a životnost bateriových systémů v automobilovém průmyslu. In response to pressure from the European Union to reduce emissions, requirements on car manufacturers are increasing, paving the way for a shift from traditional internal combustion engines to electric drives with energy stored in batteries. The battery itself is made up of modules in which battery cells are stored. To get the correct voltage output, the battery modules and the cells in them need to be wired. Where parallel wiring of the cells with serial wiring of the modules is most appropriate. The most commonly used cells are cylindrical and prismatic cells, which are further divided into prismatic cells and pouch cells. Cylindrical designs are suitable for applications where maximum power output is required, while prismatic designs are better in energy efficiency. Thermal management is very important to keep the batteries within a narrow temperature window. Liquid cooling is preferably used, which has an order of magnitude higher efficiency. This thesis focuses on the analysis of these technologies and their impact on the efficiency and lifetime of battery systems in the automotive industry.
