Diplomová práce se zabývá tvorbou kompetenčních modelů a jejich následným ukotvením v kontextu personálních činnostech hodnocení a rozvoje zaměstnanců. V teoretické části jsou nejprve diskutovány základní pojmy, kterými jsou kompetence, jejich odlišení od často zaměňovaných pojmů (jakož jsou potenciál a schopnost) a jejich možné dělení. Následně je definován kompetenční model, postup tvorby takového modelu a jeho možné podoby a struktury. Dále jsou vysvětleny principy využívání kompetenčního modelu v jednotlivých činnostech v řízení lidských zdrojů, kdy je kladen důraz zejména na procesy hodnocení a rozvíjení pracovníků díky kompetenčnímu modelu, které jsou stěžejní pro tuto diplomovou práci. Navazující praktická část začíná představením Společnosti XY a respondenta, kterým je personalista na pozici HR Generalist. Kvůli anonymitě nejsou společnost i respondent v práci přímo jmenováni. Praktická část pokračuje výzkumným šetřením, které proběhlo za pomocí kvalitativní metody rozhovoru se zmíněným respondentem a také díky analýze potřebných dokumentů Organizace XY. Na základě zjištěných dat o tvorbě a implementaci kompetenčních modelů v Organizaci XY jsou navrženy případné změny v obsahu konkrétních kompetenčních modelů pro vybrané dvě pozice Vedoucího a Asistenta pobočky a také jejich využívání v... The diploma thesis deals with the creation of competence models and their following setting in the context of HR activities of employee evaluation and development. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts of competences, their distinction from often confused concepts (such as potential and ability) and their possible division are first described. Then, the competency model, the process of creating a competency model and its potential forms and structures are defined. Next, the principles of using the competence model in individual activities in human resource management are explained, with particular emphasis on the processes of employee evaluation and development through the competence model, which are central to this thesis. The following practical part starts with the introduction of Company XY and the respondent, who is an HR Generalist. Due to anonymity, the company and the respondent are not directly named in the thesis. The practical part continues with the research investigation, which was conducted by using the qualitative method of interviewing the mentioned respondent and also by analyzing the necessary documents of Organization XY.
