Práce se zabývá vlivem nastavení geometrie přední nápravy u nákladních vozidel na spotřebu paliva a opotřebení běhounu pneumatik. Za účelem vyhodnocení vlivů byla provedena série testů v provozu na několika nákladních vozidlech s rozdílně nastavenou geometrií přední nápravy. V průběhu jízdních testů byla sbírána data o opotřebení a o spotřebě paliva. Vyhodnocení dat vedlo k určení vlivů. Vliv nastavení geometrie přední nápravy na opotřebení běhounu pneumatik se podařilo prokázat. Vliv nastavení geometrie na spotřebu je též možný, ale v porovnání s ostatními faktory ovlivňujícími spotřebu je spíše minoritní. Goal of this thesis is to study influence of vehicle geometry on tire durability and fuel consumption. To find out the results, a series of tests in real traffic was performed on different vehicles with different settings of front axle geometry. Data was processed in order to determine the influence. It was proven that geometry influences the tire durability significantly. Influence on fuel consumption is also possible but other factors can affect the consumption more.
