Východiska: V důsledku aktuálních demografických trendů projevujících se stárnutím populace, dochází k nárůstu skupiny starších osob s problémy z užívání alkoholu, která se začíná stále častěji objevovat v síti adiktologických služeb, včetně střednědobé ústavní léčby. Vzhledem k jedinečným fyzickým, emocionálním a kognitivním vlastnostem spojeným se stárnutím senioři a starší dospělí reagují na léčbu odlišně než mladší dospělí. V současné době však poskytovatelé zdravotní péče často nedisponují dostatkem intervencí týkajících se léčby a snižování škod spojených s užíváním návykových látek u starších dospělých, které by řešily široké spektrum rizik spojených s užíváním v tomto věku. Cíle: Cílem diplomové práce je pomocí analýzy potřeb zjistit, jaké mají starší uživatelé ve střednědobé ústavní léčbě potřeby a zda nabídka intervencí tyto potřeby pokrývá, případně jak službu vylepšit, aby je pokrývala. Metody: Byly uskutečněny polostrukturované rozhovory s klienty ústavní střednědobé léčby. Výzkumný soubor tvořící 7 mužů a 6 žen starších 65 a více let byl vybrán metodou záměrného výběru, konkrétně se jednalo o záměrný (účelový) výběr přes instituce. K analýze dat byla použita metoda zachycení vzorců ("gestaltů"). Výsledky: Z výsledků práce vyplývá, že respondenti jsou převážně spokojeni s poskytovanými... Background: Owing to current demographic trends reflecting an aging population, there is an increase in the group of older individuals facing issues related to alcohol consumption. This group is increasingly seeking assistance within the network of addiction services, including medium-term institutional treatment. Due to the unique physical, emotional, and cognitive characteristics associated with aging seniors and older adults respond differently to treatment compared to younger adults. Currently, healthcare providers often lack sufficient interventions related to treatment and harm reduction for substance use among older adults, addressing a broad-spectrum risk associated with substance use in this age group. Goals: The goal of the thesis is to use needs analysis to determine the needs of older users in medium-term institutional treatment and to assess whether the range of interventions meets these needs. Additionally, the thesis aims to identify potential improvements to the service better address these needs. Methodology: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with clients undergoing medium- term institutional treatment.
