Abstrakt: [cze][eng] Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem nezaměstnanosti na území České republiky v období 2020–2021. Cílem práce je reflektovat změny, které v nezaměstnanosti na daném území byly způsobeny důsledkem vládních restrikcí v zájmu ochrany veřejného zdraví obyvatel v souvislosti s šířením viru SARS-CoV-2. Práce na základě sekundárních dat ukazatele podílu nezaměstnaných osob interpretuje numerickou transformaci nárůstu nezaměstnanosti napříč regiony České republiky, které jsou dány do kontextu časových událostí zásahů do ekonomiky. Výsledky analytické části prokázaly, že vydaná protiepidemická opatření v rámci prevence k onemocnění covid-19 měla vliv na zvýšenou nezaměstnanost. Celorepublikový průměr podílu nezaměstnaných osob vzrostl k 31. 12. 2020 byl o 1,1 p. b. Zároveň lze na základě zjištěných výsledků konstatovat, že mezi regiony existovaly značné diferenciace, které jsou závislé na struktuře odvětví a jejich podílu na zaměstnanosti v daném odvětví. Nejvyšší meziroční nárůst k 31. 12. 2020 byl zaznamenán v okrese Karlovy Vary o 3,4 p. b., nejnižší v okrese Prachatice o 0,3 p. b.The diploma thesis deals with the development of unemployment in the territory of the Czech Republic in the period 2020–2021. The aim of the thesis is to reflect the changes in unemployment rate in the given territory as a result of government restrictions in order to protect the public health of the population in connection with the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Based on secondary data of the unemployment rate, the thesis interprets the numerical transformation of the growth of unemployment across the regions of the Czech Republic. These knowledges are placed in the context of temporal events of interventions in the economy. The results of the analytical part proved that the anti-epidemic measures is-sued as part of the prevention of the covid-19 disease had an effect on increased unemployment. The national average of the unemployment rate increased by 1.1 p. p. as of 31 December 2020. At the same time, based on the results, it can be stated that there are differentiations between regions, which are dependent on the struc-ture of the industry and their share of employment in the given industry. The high-est year-on-year increase as of 31 December 2020 was recorded in the district of Karlovy Vary by 3.4 p. p., the smallest in the district of Prachatice by 0.3 p. p.
