Tématem disertační práce je mediální gramotnost z pohledu klíčových aktérů mediálního vzdělávání dospělých. Mediální gramotnost je pojem, na který může být nahlíženo různě a jehož obsah se v čase mění. Z tohoto důvodu je pojem v práci představen v celé své šíři. Zatímco pohledy politiků a teoretiků lze odvodit z publikované legislativy a odborné literatury, pohledy lidí, kterých se rozvoj mediální gramotnosti dospělých v praxi nejvíce týká, známé nejsou. Proto se disertační výzkum zaměřil právě na to, jak jednotliví aktéři mediálního vzdělávání dospělých (organizátoři, účastníci a úředníci) vnímají pojem mediální gramotnost, jestli se v náhledu na mediální gramotnost shodují a jestli je možné zástupce jednotlivých pojetí nějak charakterizovat. Předstupněm k této fázi výzkumu byla kvalitativní obsahová analýza, která poskytla typologii příležitostí k mediálnímu vzdělávání dospělých v ČR. Ta pak byla využita k výběru co nejrozmanitějšího vzorku vzdělávacích akcí a informantů pro hlavní fázi kvalitativního výzkumu. S informanty byly provedeny polostrukturované hloubkové rozhovory. V rámci analýzy dat bylo identifikováno sedm rozměrů mediální gramotnosti, jejichž různé kombinace tvořily různá pojetí mediální gramotnosti u jednotlivých informantů. Část informantů se v pojetích mediální gramotnosti... The topic of the dissertation is media literacy as perceived by key agents of the media education of adults. Media literacy is a term that can be viewed differently and whose content changes over time. For this reason, the term is introduced in its entirety. While the views of politicians and theorists can be derived from published legislation and scientific literature, the views of people most engaged in the development of adult media literacy in practice are not known. Therefore, the dissertation focuses on how the individual agents of adult media education (organizers, participants and officials) perceive the concept of media literacy, whether they share a common perspective on media literacy and whether it is possible to characterize representatives of individual concepts. The prelude to this phase of the research was a qualitative content analysis, which provided a typology of opportunities for adult media education in the Czech Republic. This was then used to select the most diverse sample of educational events and informants for the main phase of the qualitative research.
