Bakalářská práce na téma Pojetí výchovy podle sv. Augustina se zaměřuje na analýzu Augustinových myšlenek týkajících se vzdělávání a výchovy v metodickém rámci dějin filosofie. Práce se zabývá Augustinovým pohledem na to, jaký je smysl výchovy a vzdělání. Silný vliv na Augustinovo myšlení má v tomto kontextu především Platónova filosofie a ovšem též navazující filosofická a teologická tradice. Budeme sledovat tento kontext, v němž se Augustin pohybuje, a též způsob, jakým navazuje na předchozí zdroje, především na Platónovu ideu vzdělání jako přivádění k idejím a motivy anamnése. Toto srovnání využijeme pro obecnější charakteristiku Augustinova promýšlení problematiky výchovy, přičemž klíčovými tématy budou vztah mezi výchovou a náboženstvím, role učitele v procesu vzdělávání, význam lásky a pravdy, vzoru a individuálního přístupu k výchově. Základními textovými zdroji budou Augustinovy spisy O učiteli, Křesťanská vzdělanost a Vyznání. The bachelor's thesis on The Concept of Education according to St. Augustine focuses on the analysis of Augustine's ideas concerning education and upbringing within the methodological framework of the history of philosophy. The thesis examines Augustine's view of what is the meaning of education and education. In this context, Augustine's thought is strongly influenced primarily by Plato's philosophy and, of course, by the philosophical and theological tradition that followed. We will trace this context in which Augustine is situated, and also the way in which he builds on earlier sources, especially Plato's idea of education as a bringing to ideas and the motive of anamnesis. We will use this comparison to characterize Augustine's thinking on education more generally, with key themes being the relationship between education and religion, the role of the teacher in the educational process, and the importance of love and truth, example and the individual approach to education. Augustine's writings On the Teacher, Christian Education, and the Confessions will be the primary textual sources.
