Disertační práce se zaměřuje na uplatňování kompetencí ředitelů při řízení arabských škol v Izraeli a jejich možný dopad na klima učitelského sboru. Jejím cílem je porozumět kontextu práce ředitelů a učitelů v arabských školách v Izraeli a vlastním výzkumem ukázat na souvislosti mezi stylem pedagogického řízení a klimatem v učitelském sboru v těchto školách. První část práce představuje izraelskou společnost a strukturu vzdělávacího systému. Porovnány jsou podmínky pro vzdělávání na arabských a židovských školách. Dále se zaměřuje na kompetence ředitelů z obecně manažerského hlediska a z hlediska legislativně daných práv a povinností. Součástí jejich kompetencí je i pedagogické řízení školy. Cílem vlastního empirického výzkumu bylo popsat styly pedagogického řízení ředitelů v arabských školách v Izraeli, popsat klima učitelských sborů v těchto školách a popsat souvislosti mezi stylem pedagogického řízení a klimatem, příp. identifikovat faktory pedagogického řízení, které přispívají k příznivému klimatu v učitelských sborech. Využity byly volně dostupné a standardizované dotazníkové metody. Styl pedagogického řízení byl zjišťován dotazníkem PIMRS (Principal Instructional Management Rating Scale), klima učitelského sboru pak pomocí OCDQ-RS (Organizational Climate Description Questionnaire for... This thesis focuses on the application of principal's competencies in managing Arab schools in Israel and their possible impact on the climate of the teaching staff. It aims to understand the context of principal's and teacher's work in Arab schools in Israel and to show through its own research the links between instructional management style and the climate of the teaching staff in these schools. The first part of the thesis introduces Israeli society and the structure of the education system. The conditions are compared for education in Arab and Jewish schools. It then focuses on the competencies of principals from a general managerial point of view and from the point of view of the rights and duties given by law. Their competencies include the instructional management of the school. The aim of my own empirical research was to describe the instructional management styles of principals in Arab schools in Israel, to describe the climate of the teaching staff in these schools, and to describe the relationship between instructional management style and climate, or to identify the instructional management factors that contribute to a favorable climate in the teaching staff.
