Tato diplomová práce zkoumá problematiku recepce a překladu frankofonního autobiografického komiksu v České republice. Vychází z teoretických poznatků z oblastí teorie a historie autobiografického komiksu, teorie multimodality a překladu komiksu. Na základě dat z knihovnických a knižních databází a katalogů předkládá soupis autobiografických komiksů vydaných na českém knižním trhu mezi lety 1990 a 2022. Tento soupis je doplněn o data z polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s českými nakladatelstvími, internetových čtenářských databází, veřejných knihoven a médií, jejichž analýza je výchozím bodem pro podrobný popis situace a postavení frankofonního autobiografického komiksu na českém trhu. Dle nashromážděných dat frankofonní autobiografický komiks tvoří přibližně 20 % nabídky s autobiografickými komiksy v České republice, přičemž česky vydávané frankofonní autobiografické komiksy přesně neodrážejí rozmanitost této tvorby v zahraničí. Práce proto představuje pět frankofonních autobiografických komiksů a ukázky jejich překladů, vycházejících z modelu analýzy multimodálního textu Sary Dicerto (2018), jenž je v práci představen jako komplexní a přínosný model pro translatologický výzkum a překladatelskou průpravu. This thesis examines the reception and translation of francophone autobiographical comics in the Czech Republic. It is based on theoretical knowledge from the fields of theory and history of autobiographical comics, multimodality theory and comics translation. Based on data from library and book databases, and catalogues, it presents an inventory of autobiographical comics published on the Czech book market between 1990 and 2022. This inventory is supplemented by data from semi-structured interviews with Czech publishers, from online reader databases, public libraries, and media; the analysis of these sources is the starting point for a detailed description of the situation and position of francophone autobiographical comics on the Czech market. According to the data collected, francophone autobiographical comics account for approximately 20 % of the autobiographical comics offer in the Czech Republic, and Czech-published francophone autobiographical comics do not accurately reflect the diversity of this type of work abroad.
