Cílem této práce je utvořit si představu o tom, jakými způsoby je v médiích zobrazováno "ženství" v českých prezidentských volbách v roce 2023. Zastoupení žen ve vrcholné české politice je dosud menšinové a žádná žena se ještě nestala prezidentkou nebo premiérkou. Tento fakt neznamená, že by ženy pro tyto pozice nebyly stejně vhodné jako muži. Znamená to, že ve veřejné sféře nemají rovné příležitosti, anebo se raději ani neodváží do ní vstupovat. To vychází z patriarchálního společenského řádu, ve kterém je veřejná sféra přizpůsobována zejména mužům. V teoretické části práce se proto zaměřím na historii feministických hnutí a současnost feministických teorií v oblasti politiky, problematiku žen ve vrcholné politice a konceptualizaci nových médií a jejich vztah s politickou komunikací. Metodologická a analytická část se bude zabývat výzkumem mediálních reprezentací. V roce 2023 kandidovala v prezidentské volbě pouze jedna žena - Danuše Nerudová. Na základě analýzy její oficiální kampaně na sociálních sítích posoudím, jak pracovala s faktem, že je žena. Druhá část analýzy vypoví něco o tom, jak tento fakt zobrazuje jedno seriózní a jedno bulvární médium a zdali je pro ně nějakým způsobem důležitý. Výzkum v této práci je kvalitativní povahy a využívá metod obsahové analýzy a zakotvené teorie. Klíčová... The aim of this thesis is to form an idea of the ways in which "feminine" is portrayed in the media in the Czech presidential elections in 2023. The representation of women in top Czech politics is still a minority and no woman has yet become president or prime minister. This fact does not mean that women are not as suitable for these positions as men. It means that they do not have equal opportunities in the public sphere, or rather they do not even dare to enter it. This stems from a patriarchal social order in which public sphere is adapted mainly to men. In the theoretical part of the work, I will therefore focus on the history of feminist movements and the present of feminist theories in the field of politics, the issue of women in top politics and the conceptualization of new media and their relationship with political communication. The methodological and analytical part will deal with the research of media representations. In 2023, only one woman ran in the presidential election - Danuše Nerudová. Based on an analysis of her official social media campaign, I will assess how she worked with the fact that she is a woman. The second part of the analysis will tell something about how this fact is portrayed by one serious and one tabloid media and whether it is somehow important to them. The...
