Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem architektonické studie sakrálního objektu a komunitního centra pro Salesiány v Brně-Líšni. Místní Salesiáni zde mají své středisko Salesko sousedící s řešeným pozemkem. Již třicet let se zde věnují výchově mládeže po vzoru svého zakladatele Dona Boska. Ovšem chybí jim zde vhodné prostory pro konání bohoslužeb, setkávání se s věřícími apod. Architektonická studie se zabývá návrhem kostela Ducha svatého se zázemím pro věřící, čímž řeší problém s vhodným duchovním místem pro bohoslužby. Navržený komplex je rozdělen do tří celků. Hlavní dominantou návrhu je kostel Ducha svatého oválného půdorysu. Kostel má svou oválnou hmotou zaujmout a zároveň působit čistě a pozitivně vůči okolní panelové zástavbě. Čistota a jemnost proniká i do interiéru chrámu, bílý oválný prostor a monumentální vitrážové okno v presbytáři vrhající barevné odlesky, vytváří oázu pro duši i tělo. Oválná hmota kostela je složená z centrálního oválu, kde se nachází hlavní prostor chrámu pro konání bohoslužeb pro 400 věřících a druhým oválem obíhajícím okolo, kde se nachází pomocné funkce pro chod kostela jako je sakristie, místnost pro rodiče s dětmi, technické zázemí nebo v druhém nadzemním podlaží zkušebna sboru a hlavní kůr s varhanami. Části komunitního centra a fary tvoří jeden celek, který je symbolicky propojený dvorem. Společně tvoří půdorys písmene L a svou kvádrovou hmotou jsou kontrastem oválné dominantě kostela. Komunitní centrum přímo navazuje ze severní strany na kostel. Je zde navrženo hygienické zázemí a společenský sál pro konání volnočasových aktivit např. výuku náboženství nebo setkávání věřících. Fara je dvoupodlažní, kde se v přízemí nachází technické zázemí, pokoj pro hosty s koupelnou a společná kuchyně pro kněze se vstupem do dvora, kde mohou nerušeně trávit čas. Druhé nadzemní podlaží je čistě privátní, kde se nachází ubytování Salesiánů a jejich soukromá kaple. Okolí kostela je navrženo jak pro věřící, tak pro širokou veřejnost k odpočinku, procházce apod. Je zde zachováno dostatečné mnoství zelených ploch se stromy a lavičkami pro zpříjemnění odpočinku a vychutnávání si výhledů na okolí Brna a vzdálenou Pálavu. Mohou si projít křížovou cestu, která je součásti jižní fasády kostela v podobě vitrážových oken nebo využít venkovní presbytář na konání bohoslužeb a jiných akcí. Obdivovatele zvonů mohou zaujmout zavěšené zvony na jihozápadní stěně kostela, které budou zvát k bohoslužbě.
This final thesis deals with a design of an architectural study of a religious building and a community center for the Salesians in Brno-Líšen. Local Salesians have their Salesian center here adjacent to the discussed plot. They have been devoted to youth education for thirty years, following the example of their founder Don Bosco. However, they lack suitable spaces for conducting church services, meeting with worshippers, and other related activities. The architectural study deals with the design of The Church of the Holy Spirit with facilities for worshippers, which addresses the problem of a suitable spiritual place for church services. The complex is divided into three parts. The main feature of the design is the oval-shaped Holy Spirit church, which is intended to stand out and, at the same time, have a clean and positive impact on the surrounding slab blocks. Cleanliness and delicacy reflect into the interior of the church as well, where a white oval space and a monumental stained-glass window in the presbytery cast colorful reflections, creating an oasis for the soul and body. The oval-shaped church is composed of a central oval, in which the main space of the church for conducting church services for 400 worshippers is located, with a second oval that surrounds it and includes auxiliary functions for the church's operation, such as a sacristy, a room for parents with children, technical facilities, or a choir rehearsal room with the main organ in the second floor. The community center and the parish office form a single unit, symbolically linked by a courtyard. Together they form an L-shaped floor plan and their cubiform building contrasts with the oval dominance of the church. The community center directly adjoins the church from the north, providing hygienic facilities and a social hall for leisure activities such as religious education or meetings for worshippers. The parish office is a two-floor building, with technical facilities on the ground floor, a guest room with a bathroom, and a shared kitchen for the priest with an entrance to the courtyard, where they can spend time undisturbed. The second floor is purely private, housing the Salesians and their private chapel. The surrounding of the church is designed for both worshippers and the general public to rest, walk, and enjoy the green spaces with trees and benches for relaxation and enjoying the views of Brno and the distant Pálava. Visitors can walk the Stations of the Cross, which are part of the southern facade of the church in the form of stained-glass windows, or use the outdoor presbytery for church services and other events. Admirers of bells can be attracted by the hung bells on the southwest wall of the church, which will invite them to the church services.
