Pracovní psychická zátěž a strategie jejího překonávání ve vztahu ke stavu imunitního systému člověka Výzkumy posledních desetiletí ukazují, že čistě biologické faktory nejsou jedinou příčinou ovlivnění imunitního systému a případného rozvoje nemoci. Stále jasněji se ukazuje, že je nutné přihlížet také k faktorům psychologickým. Tématem práce je pokusit se objasnit, alespoň dílčím způsobem, jak zvládání pracovních a životních starostí (resp. působící psychické zátěže a stresu) ovlivňuje zdravotní stav člověka, konkrétně pak činnost jeho imunitního systému, a to především s vazbou na možnou progresi onkologického onemocnění. V předkládané práci se soustředíme na tři základní výzkumné oblasti. Jednak na možnou provázanost mezi prožitým množstvím náročných pracovních a životních událostí a zvýšenou šancí na rozvoj onkologického onemocnění (s vazbou na útlum imunitního systému, který tomu může předcházet). Dále pak na identifikaci případného rozdílu ve využívání strategií překonávání psychické zátěže a stresu u nemocných osob a u těch, kteří neonemocní. V poslední části práce pak na vnímaný pozitivní přínos této náročné životní zkušenosti, tedy prožitku onkologického onemocnění. Tyto první dvě zmiňované výzkumné oblasti se snažíme zodpovědět prostřednictvím srovnání dvou zkoumaných skupin, resp.... Úvod ABSTRACT Work stress and coping strategies in relation to the state of the human immune system Research in recent decades has shown that not only purely biological factors have an effect on the immune system and the possible development of disease. It is becoming increasingly clear that psychological factors must also be taken into account. The topic of our research is to try to clarify, at least partly, how coping with work and life worries (or mental stress) affects a person's health, mainly the activity of immune system, especially in relation to the possible progression of cancer. In the presented research we focus on three basic research areas, being the possible connection between the experienced number of demanding life and work events and the increased chance for the development of oncological disease. Furthermore, we look to identifying the possible difference in the use of strategies for overcoming stress in sick people and those who do not get sick. In the last part of the research, the possible connection between the experience of cancer and the perceived positive benefits of this challenging life experience.
