Asistovaná reprodukce - právní a etické aspekty Abstrakt Tato práce je zaměřena na právní a etické aspekty asistované reprodukce. Cílem je jednak popsat platnou právní úpravu asistované reprodukce, posoudit, zda je tato úprava dostatečná pro potřeby současné společnosti a zamyslet se nad tím, jaké její změny by byly případně vhodné. Vzhledem k tomu, že asistovaná reprodukce však i v současné době představuje kontroverzní téma, věnuji se v této práci také etickým aspektům jejího poskytování a snažím se zachytit ta nejdiskutabilnější témata, která se řeší jak v české společnosti, tak po celém světě. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do 6 částí. V první části vysvětluji, co vůbec pojem asistovaná reprodukce znamená, jaké jsou metody a postupy asistované reprodukce a podmínky jejího poskytování, a to zejména ve vztahu k neplodnosti. Druhá část této práce je praktičtější a zaměřuje se na poskytování asistované reprodukce, tedy kdo může tuto zdravotní službu poskytovat a komu. Zmiňuji i otázku financování této zdravotní služby a jeho provázanost s veřejným zdravotním pojištěním. V třetí části této práce je řešena otázka dárcovství pohlavních buněk. Zde se věnuji anonymitě dárcovství a ochraně vytvořeného embrya. Čtvrtá část na problematiku anonymity dárcovství navazuje a zaměřuje se na rodičovství, tedy co tento pojem... Assisted reproduction - legal and ethical aspects Abstract This master's thesis discusses legal and ethical aspects of assisted reproduction. The aim of this thesis is to describe current legislation governing assisted reproduction, evaluate whether such legislation is able to meet the needs of modern society and also to discuss possible amendments thereof necessary for establishing a reasonable and effective legal system. With respect to the fact that assisted reproduction still represents a controversial topic among the general public, this thesis also deals with related ethical aspects and mentions the most contentious topics debated both in the Czech Republic and worldwide. This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter explains the term assisted reproduction and describes its main principles, methods and procedures along with conditions for assisted reproduction including infertility. The second chapter of this thesis is more practical and focuses on topics related to providing assisted reproduction, such as who may provide said medical service or who may be the recipient thereof. The question of financing this medical service and its connection with the public health insurance system is also reflected.
